I've had numerous conversations with customer service reps from their company trying to figure out how my email in the account was changed to someone within the company, which also lead to noticing multiple charges to my account after my normal billing cycle for the month processed and then being told my pod is locked and I don't have access to it. Nothing they were saying over the phone was making any sense. Even after clearing up the additional charges, someone in the company credited only part of it leaving a balance which there was none before they fraudulently changed my information in my account to an employees email. I had it setup for auto pay monthly and had no problems before. So after working through a dispute with the rep who clearly sees it's a problem, I told them I will arrange to move my belongings, they tell me I have to pay for the upcoming month first before they can remove the lock on my account. The auto payment hasn't even taken place yet for my monthly payment. This is called extortion! If my account is paid up to date, there's no way in the world do you think it's practical to demand payment for services I don't plan to keep! .Let me paint the picture ( invoice for service date 9/27-10/26) if I'm no longer keeping my belongings stored, why should I pay? Also, why is your company denying me access to my personal belongings? If this isn't resolved today, I will be taken legal action against this company and filing a complaint with the Office of State General. This is an unlawful business act. Save yourself the hassle.

you got all my information, and yet you can not pick up the phone and call me if I want my delivery. Took 20 days to go 26.5 miles

We used PODS to pack up our house while transitioning to listing current house/moving to new house. The delivery and pickup were completed as quoted. The delivery driver was efficient and courteous.

My husband and I purchased a pod for our move and had it for a little over 3 weeks. We got charged multiple times that we didn’t expect to. They are charging to pick up their own pod for more than they charged to move the pod. The pick up charge was unbelievably misleading because In your quote they give you the price at the bottom but will not include the moving charges or pick up charges so you see this smaller number but they will charge you for hundreds over the quoted price. Will never use them again. They are not helpful at all either when you call them. So have fun getting charged more than you are quoted and misleading information

I had a smooth experience. The price might not be SUPER competitive but definitely the best deal I could find for cost and great customer service.

Pod's took my order for 2 large pods to go into storage for my upcoming move. We hadn't found a house yet so I told the sales associate that so see it that we were moving to any one of 8 to 10 zip codes in Erie PA. I was told I had to give them a zip code so I randomly selected one. We ended up finding and purchasing a home in the zip code right next door to the one I gave them. When I called them to update my order to have to have the delivery sent directly to the house instead of in storage, I was told they did not service that zip code. I had a full large pod is large pod fully packed and I had to have it unpacked and the contents put into a U-haul for my move and I had to cancel my pod's order. POD's did not refund the money for that 1st pod delivery and I am still waiting to hear from them. I was never told by the sales associate that PODS does not deliver to all zip codes.

They would not deliver the pod to my home, even though they have no warnings of areas they dont deliver to. Had I known that from the start, I would have never used them for my solution. Do not use them.

Was told one thing and got another. Having a supervisor tell me something COMPLETELY different from a sales associate. We were told give a week notice and everything will be situated. I explained when we where moving, when we were moving and all the information I possibly could. Pick up and delivery where 2-3 weeks. We lived in a house with nothing. All of our stuff was in the POD, our bed, blankets, dry food, clothes, washer and dry. Oh the list goes on! After all of that issue, the damaged out property! Very very disappointed. I contacted POD 4 times with them telling me they will email. The only email I’ve received was about the damage property. Nothing about the first issue I spoke to a supervisor about that is “supposed” to reach out. I will be calling again for the 5th time on Monday. This is absolutely pathetic. Never will use pod again.

Use literally anyone else. Once they have the pods in their possession, they will treat your stuff like a hostage bargaining chip. Customer service is terrible, their online system is terrible. Even if they have a driver available, the driver doesn't have the power to pick up your pod. If they're not told, they can't do it. Then once it actually gets dropped off and you unload your things, they will send you confirmations that the pod has been picked up when it's still sitting in your driveway.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and I am not exaggerating. They made an error with my order when it was picked up from my old house and taken to their warehouse that has caused weeks of delays and hours of wasted time for me. Their system or the people using it have jacked my order up so bad that no one wants to help me now. They hang up on me (true story), leave me on hold until the call disconnects... or I finally get to someone who seems like they can help, I spend hours on the phone with them, they advise me to call back to make sure things are progressing... and I call back 48 hours later to find that nothing has happened, no notes have been entered and I am basically at square one. I have no idea if I will ever see my belongings again, and I do have serious doubts about that. I may have to get a lawyer, I have no solution and no way to get any real help. I am reliably informed that their corporate structure chose to outsource their customer service and update the tech in some way that is causing all kinds of problems. I seem to be getting the worse of it. Maybe they used to be good, but I would advise steering clear of this company and going with UPackIt or PackRat instead. I sure wish I had.

My container was sent to a facility too far away from my new home in Palmetto GA even though I gave them my address during initial intake. I had to pay an extra fee of $190 to have it moved from that facility to another facility and then it will eventually be delivered to my home. I had no choice but to pay because PODS had my container 33 miles away and I needed to get it to my home. The original sales person was supposed to put into my order that I wanted an immediate delivery to my home in GA once it was picked up from my old home in PA on June 30th, but I later found out that didn't happen. The website didn't indicate that I needed to call to schedule a pickup so I waited for a week. After that, I called and found out that it couldn't be scheduled for another week due to the delay and then found out that it was at the wrong facility and that I would have to pay extra due to PODS error. That customer service call took 90 minutes to figure everything out. Now I'm just waiting for the container to be delivered and hoping that everything is ok with it and hope that I can get it emptied before I have to pay for another month's rent. The customer service rep said she filed an incident report to request a refund of the extra transit fee but wasn't sure if it will be granted. My first experience with PODS and the only smooth part of it was the initial drop off and pick up in PA.

Applied for a permit to have my POD dropped in the city of Bethlehem only to find out this franchisee had not paid their business taxes to the city, so their business license had been suspended. Here we are 3 weeks after having initially trying to have our POD dropped off and I have no idea where it is. Good news is they’ve charged us in full for our move. So now they have our $3k and I have no idea where our belongings are. Seriously shady business practices. Good luck trying to get any compensation for a completely ruined move. 6 business days later after filing a dispute and still nobody is handling our case. If I could give 0 stars I would. Choose PODs for your next move at your own risk.

For our move we used PODS for one container and 1-800-PACK-RAT for another. PODS delivered and picked up when they said they would. Everyone was professional and communication was great. Although a little higher priced, PODS was well worth it for the peace of mind over the nightmare that the other company caused.

As a first time pid renter, I am very pleased with this service. My driver was absolutely amazing. I can't speak highly enough about him. The customer service was excellent as well. The only thing I don't like is that they do separate charges for pick up and delivery but now that I know that is the case, it isn't a huge deal. Definitely recommend this service.

Terrible service- lost both PODS I rented and when I called each time they insisted "there is no Easton storage facility". Hours on phone calls each time with inadequately trained service people at a loss for how to fix the problems. No business being in business. If I could select zero stars, i would.
