I'm not sure how the staff knew, but we were surprised to find a very thoughtful and kind bereavement package in each of our rooms. Can't say how much this kindness meant.

First let me start by saying my family and I love staying at this hotel. Despite being satisfied with the rooms and amenities, I have had some trouble with hotel management/accommodations. The last two stays have been frustrating to say the least. I stayed once in September and upon check in was given the wrong room and then told the room I reserved didn't even exist. I was then booked in the original reserved room the next night. I will say that I was compensated for the inconvenience at that time. This last stay was a mess. Upon check in I was authorized for the full stay plus incidentals up front which is common practice for all my travels (I travel quite a bit). Two days later a hold was placed on my card for TWO MORE NIGHTS plus incidentals ($400). The additional hold was placed because of some mishap in their system. They thought I reserved one night and extended my stay despite being checked in for 3 nights upon arrival (showed and confirmed my stay upon arrival). They claimed it was my financial institution, then claimed it was "just the way they bill for stays", then claimed it was because of a debit card rather than credit and the hold was a necessity to verify the stay was paid for (HOW was it necessary when they already placed a hold for the full stay?!). I stay at Hilton branded hotels, Fairfield branded hotels, Park Inn Hotels when necessary and other IHG hotels and have run into issues but always been treated with great customer service. Hotel management here is dodgy at best. They refuse to admit any fault in the whole matter placing the blame anywhere else they can. They are a Franchise and claim they have no control over the online booking process and are a complete separate entity (If you are part of the brand, franchise or not, you are responsible for the reputation of the brand and are still responsible for upholding IHG customer service standards). Mistakes happen, but when hotel management doesn't take responsibility, it is time to look for new management (ESPECIALLY WHEN IT INVOLVES MONEY). Whether the money is simply a hold or not it could have caused a mountain of extra banking fees that I'm sure wouldn't be the responsibility of the hotel even though they would be the reason for the charges. I apologize to the hotel staff that had to deal with my short temper, but will not apologize to Susan, hotel management. She is responsible for resolving the issue and I will not speak any kind words about this establishment until it is resolved properly. Admitting fault and an apology should be the FIRST priority which is a simple thing to do (just not for management here). Do yourself a favor, avoid the mess, save some money and stay at the Radisson. They have all the same amenities PLUS some (just not as fancy). They also have a bar/restaurant and will accommodate all your needs. I've had a few mishaps with accommodations at the Radisson also, but they were 100% on top of recognizing their mistake and compensating me for the inconvenience.There was nothing that could have been done because the additional auth charge was made in error. Whether that error was the fault of something during the booking process or a physical interaction by someone during the billing process, it was still an error on IHG's part. It was not of my doing. What is failed to be understood is that, although the charges will be reversed, they should not have been placed as a hold to begin with since you got full authorization up front. Your lackluster attempts to "help" fall on deaf ears because the damage was done and no responsibility was claimed. This was further escalated because of the initial response citing multiple different reasons why this happened and claiming "It's just the way it is". This is why I have had to go through the IHG support help line to get proper resolution and will continue to do so until responsibility is taken. The hotel staff is welcoming and they have a time in the evening where you can get popcorn and snacks for a few hours after 5pm. I think that is going the extra mile in customer service. The room I was in had this massive tub which was amazing to soak in. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The lobby has a beautiful waterfall feature. The hot breakfast was very good especially with the variety of things offered.

We brought our high school girls basketball team here, recently, and this hotel was outstanding to work with. They made the whole process easy, and the staff was excellent. They put our team where they had easy access to the pool, and to breakfast the next morning. I was very impressed, and I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is really nice and was very clean on our visit, BUT NOISY. The room above us had kids running around and jumping and we couldn't sleep. We called the front desk twice. The noise stopped temporarily and then started again. This was after midnight. The woke us up again at 7 with their noise. So, we got about 3 hours of sleep which is totally unacceptable. We were on the 2nd floor. We are not light sleepers. We had relatives on the first floor (also not light sleepers) that were also awoken by kids running around in the middle of the night. It really is a shame because all the employees were nice, the breakfast was really good, & the swimming pool/hot tub are great but unless we hear that they have done some sound proofing or staff will enforce quiet, we will not be back. The employee we called said he went up there 2 times but he couldn't hear anything. They should have offered to move us to a different room.

We stayed for a week with a good bit of luggage. Nice location, Nice quiet room on 3rd floor, and good rate. Room service was very good, front desk lacking a little friendliness. and professionalism skills. Good late night crew, morning crew not so much. One and only elevator went down on check out day caused us some hauling out problems, and front desk noted that repair would happen in a few hours. They didn't seem very helpful or sympathetic. One elevator is not enough for this 3 floor hotel.Rooms: Room was clean plus larger than expected and that helped. Value was good for the length of our stay.

You will be banned from this hotel if you leave a bad review! I left a bad review 5 or 6 yrs ago and it magical disappeared but I am still banned from this hotel for my bad review.My review was about my horrible stay during some kind of baseball event. There were kids screaming, running the halls and the worst was the pool. My small group of 3 adults were pushed out by kids jumping from hot tub to pool and back again. I told the front desk about the kids. I was told... 'they come every year.' That is not an appropriate answer. We were obviously upset about the situation but was basically told to kick rocks.That night my room was 'accidentally' double booked to a late night check-in. I was woken up by a stranger trying to get into my room!!!! That was no accidentI left a bad review here on Google about this experience. I received a reply from the business stating my issue was resolved that night when I complained but no answer on how it was resolved. A few weeks later I received an official letter from Holiday Inn that I was no longer allowed on this property. This is how they resolved this issue, by banning me.We now use my spouse's IHG account to book this hotel when we come to town once a yr to visit family.

This facility is a 6-star out of 5. Everything about our Monday night travel visit was excellent. The staff was helpful, friendly and engaging. The facility was neat and clean throughout. Our room was neat and clean and extremely comfortable. Welcome staff even pointed us to a very nice dinner choice just a few miles north of the motel. Convenient from I-80 exit.

Very nice and clean, staff is super friendly. They offer a hot tub, pool, breakfast bar, and a snack bar, which included ice cream. I stayed for 2 weeks while training for work, and it was an absolutely amazing experience!

Stayed here two different weekends. The rooms were clean and quiet. The front desk people were helpful. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Will stay again when passing through.Only down side was the coffee in the morning, it is terrible.

Enjoyed the stay.Check-in was easy.It's right off i80 (like < 3 minutes).Staff was friendly.Things to know:1. Breakfast had a lot of options(including gluten free muffins)2. They welcomed us with popcorn & cookies. Not sure if it's every night, but they had ice cream (fudge bars & ice cream sandwiches) when we arrived.3. You get a wristband for the pool.4. They have like 4 Diamond Elite parking spots.Nearby activities: Golf course < 2 minute driveWalkability: Not particularly walkable but:Dunkin 3-4min driveShopping area with grocery & restaurants: 6-7 min drive

Great place! Stopped for a night on the way east on I-80. Staff was friendly. Popcorn and ice-cream bars for each of us! The grounds include a very pleasant decorative pond and waterfall. Room was clean. Pool was clean and hot tub was hot. Breakfast was good (not great). Only challenge is that there are no restaurants or stores nearby.

Love to come here with the family! The hotel has a cute little sitting area in the back with a pond and little waterfall definitely relaxing. They also have an indoor pool which is decent size and not too cold. Definitely recommend staying here (:Rooms: Rooms are kept clean. Nice sized too!
