River's Edge Bait Shop has a nice selection of top water and other lures and live bait for all types of fishing on the Youghiogheny River. The staff are super nice people with tons of fishing knowledge and experience. They are happy to spend time explaining things and offering tips and recommendations on where and how to fish. If looking for a specific rig that is sold out, the staff gives suggestions on other places to find them. The bait shop is the best around by far and stocks lots of different baits and tackle. Customers will definitely be using this bait shop anytime they are in West Newton fishing.

Went in for the very first time yesterday. The guy was super nice, gave me some info on some of the things we were talking about and I purchased my stock the Yough pin from here. Will deff be using this bait shop anytime I’m in west newton fishing
