I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Hertz. The car assigned to me didn’t have wireless CarPlay, which I needed for navigation, text messaging, and hands-free functionality, when I brought this up to the front desk attendant, CJ, he walked with me to the vehicle but insisted that the phone connection was only for music only, I explained that I needed full CarPlay functionality, not just Bluetooth audio, His response? That it was the only car available that later turned out not true.
I told him I’d prefer to cancel the reservation and go to another Hertz location, maybe the airport, at that point, another employee named Qadir stepped in, but instead of helping, he seemed frustrated from the moment he approached, rather than offering solutions, he began lecturing me about phone cables and asked if I even knew how to charge my phone, I calmly explained that both of my phones charge wirelessly.
He then grabbed a cable from his desk to try, which turned out to be the wrong connector anyway, He continued to condescendingly explain that “all cars need to be paired with cables, first” ignoring the fact that wireless CarPlay is an increasingly standard feature and something I expected when booking.
Frustrated again and ready to leave, I asked about a Chevy Equinox I had seen in the lot, Qadir said it was available, in the middle of a downpour, I stood by the car while he connected my phone to confirm wireless CarPlay worked, They updated the contract, and I finally left.
Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there, the car I received was dirty, the passenger seat was covered in food crumbs, the cargo area was full of pet hair, and the vehicle smelled like a large, wet dog had been trapped inside for hours.
The facility itself was just as disappointing, the main office reeked of cigarette stink, and the overall environment felt neglected and unprofessional, to get to the car, I was walked through a cluttered room filled with tools, vacuum hoses strewn about, and extension cords running across the floor, an obvious safety hazard and a terrible first impression.
This was an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience, and not what I expect from Hertz.

I had a wonderful experience here at this Hertz location. The manager Qadir Taylor was excellent! Thank you for all your help!! 10/10 would recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!
Went with a friend who had made a reservation and paid for a vehicle. As many other reviews said when we arrived they had no vehicles. They also informed him that he must contact Expedia for his refund. Today he received an email from Expedia stating that had reached out to this Hertz location multiple times and there has been no response. Not have any cars is terrible but not unheard of. Ignoring Expedia so that you do not have to refund the money is undeniably corrupt. It is clear this business does not care, read the other reviews. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!

Made a reservation through work for a rental car for two days. I get to the location and “there are no cars available” then why did it let me make a reservation. Dumbest thing I ever heard. Nincompoops. If you don’t have vehicles, call people and say that instead of making me waste my time driving up for no reason. Courtesy

I’ve rented countless times from Hertz. I’ve never had the LDW added to my charges. This location…yep that happened! Watch your charges closely!

The phone was ignored at this location all morning as I attempted to call so I came here to try to drop off a vehicle. The hours on Google and posted in the window say they're open till noon but the doors were all locked at 11:40.

I rent from Hertz almost weekly across the US, and only rent from this location for local travel. Hands down this location is the worst I deal with. I’ve promised myself not to use this location, but it being close to home, I find myself coming back.
People are rude, never have options to choose from as a gold membership does in almost every location I travel to. Cars aren’t normally clean…always a terrible experience.
Hertz, I know you’re better than this.
