Dr. Freeman and her team are outstanding. During my exam, she identified a potential health issue. She made a phone call and had me sent to a specialist for further work up. She then took time out of her off schedule to call and check up on me. I cannot recommend Dr. Freeman enough.

I had an emergent situation. There was a small window that they could squeeze me into see Dr Freeman. She was thorough and wonderful. The staff is also competent and attentive. The cost of the office visit was refreshingly affordable. So glad I started coming here 10 mos ago!

I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. When I arrived for my appointment there was no waiting and all of the employees that helped me were very friendly.

Amazing service. The arm broke off my glasses last night and was not repairable. I headed over after work today, and asked if there was anything that could be done. A service-person started taking the old lenses out, and the optometrist took a new frame off of the display. 2 minutes and I had a new pair in my hand. They said I owed nothing!

Greg was fantastic. I had a difficult order and he took care of it quickly and correctly. I really appreciate that. They took personal interest in my order and went out of their way to help me even though my order was difficult.

I took my son here in March and we had a fabulous experience. The check-in, exam, and glasses fitting were conducted in a friendly, professional manner. The staff was pleasant and we felt like we were getting great customer service. That was NOT the case todayToday I took my two daughters girls to have eye exams required for kindergarten entry. Upon entering, I was greeted with a irritated, snippy “You’re Late” before even a hello was muttered or identity confirmed. I was taken aback yet certain I had the correct appointment time due to two confirmation texts with the same time I was arriving. I was also embarrassed because the store was incredibly quiet and other people were staring given the greeting I received. I apologized and calmly pulled out my phone to show the confirmation texts. That got me a “well I have one for 10:20 and 10:40”. I apologized again and shared that I wasn’t sure what happened but that I genuinely thought my appointments were at 10:40. The level of irritation implied that we weren’t being seen so I wasn’t unsure what to do next. I looked up to see other associates continuing to watch at this point with a second woman approaching to intervene. The first woman rudely confirmed “we’ll still see them, we’ll still see them” and snipped at her co-worker that she was too busy finishing something else while waving us away with her hand after being asked if she was going to continue checking my daughters in. The interaction left one of my daughter’s very apprehensive the rest of the appointment whispering to me that she didn’t want to get in trouble again with “that lady”. I was disappointed that interaction was a part of my children’s first visit to the eye doctor. It was embarrassing to stand at the front of the store being greeted and spoken to so rudely.Thankfully the interactions that followed were professional, kid-friendly, and genuinely pleasant. A helpful associate told me after the exams were finished that he adjusted my daughters profiles so we would get confirmation texts about all appointments next time. I apologized again and he assured me that it wasn’t a problem. I appreciated the time he took to investigate how the mishap could have occurred (which is what should have happened from the start).I do want to stress that the other staff members were great. The lady who administered the puff test took her time making my girls comfortable and explaining what would happen with each piece of equipment. The optometrist was just out of this world with assessing their eyes in a kid-friendly way. It’s a shame because the experience should have been fantastic from start to finish like it was in March.I work in healthcare and I understand that late arrivals and no-shows are disruptive to the schedule. However there is a calm, professional way to handle events like this. A little bit of kindness goes a long way and it doesn’t cost a thing to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Mayor Baldhead aka Greg at the wexford store helped with everything from making us laugh and knowing when to being serious. He explained everything to my son and I about our options. He fitted my sons glasses(the butler store did not do this nor did they have antiglare put in his lenses). Greg took care of that after my son picked out a new style of frame. My glasses were the same style for years but he picked out a fresh new style for me and I loved the look. He also explained what my double vision prism does and what to expect with this vision correction. My son and I both had scripts from an eye specialist but will continue to purchase glasses/lens with Greg. Thank you again!

We have been going to visionworks for quite a while now. We have consistently been treated well. The people are friendly, knowledgeable and care about the patients. They also help you find a frame that fits at a price that works.

Do not schedule!! I scheduled twice and each time I showed up was told the doctor was running anywhere from 35 minutes to 60 minutes behind . They did not call to let me know and this happened twice on back to back weeks. The most poorly run office and the female doctor needs to get a grip on managing her time. 99% of other providers figure it out, it’s not rocket science.UPDATE: I emailed customer service (per the direction of the reply to this review) and haven't heard back. I sent the email three weeks ago, and followed up after last week and it's still been radio silence. Don't be fooled by their automated reply to negative reviews, the was no action taken on their part
