We love Wexford Animal Hospital. Both of our dogs are patients here. We switched to his vet after a negative experience at another vet, and have never looked back. They never try to oversell you, and treat your fur babies as if they’re their own. All of the docs are incredible so it’s really nice having the flexibility to see multiple doctors and get appointments faster when we need them, yet still know our dogs are in good hands.

The vets and staff take excellent care of pets. They are very thorough and take time to answer the questions you have. The only thing I don’t like is that the total cost of the visit is a surprise and the receptionist doesn’t give you a full breakdown of the costs until after you’ve paid and she prints off the receipt. A yearly physical for my small dog cost $69, even after I was expected to weigh my dog before the exam and he didn’t even get his temperature taken during it. I honestly felt like I got ripped off the last two times because each time they gave my dog a shot of benadryl (this time) and an anti-nausea med (last time) and each of those cost around $50. I would definitely appreciate if they were more up front about the costs as they went, especially if they’re going to be that outrageous!

New to this place? I called to make an appointment for my two dogs, I was told to go on line and fill the new pet form. More than 2 days later, nobody contacted me. I called back just to be told they don't take new pets. Thank you for wasting time that could have been essential, should my pets needed immediate care.

They medicated my kitten with the wrong stuff and he died two days later. When we took him to the hospital they informed us he had been wrongly diagnosed by Wexford Veterinary Hospital. I called and let you know and you basically could have cared less.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The vets are incredible with my animals and always offer helpful advice. They do not try and sell you on anything, and only recommend something if its absolutely necessary. They offer a wide variety of solutions. Its full of people who really care about animals and their health.I called about my cat being stung by a wasp and was walked through everything I could do to help him by Lizzy. Thank you.

My max was very sick with kidney stones and they were the best. They did everything to help him and they didn't charge me a arm and a leg to do it.Many thanks to the staff at the vet ?

Dr. Katelyn Ewald and the whole staff were top notch! I am so glad I found a vet that genuinely showed interest in my best friend. So much so that I can feel confident that he will receive the best of care for years to come. Thank you!

I wish I could give WVH 10 stars. What an amazing place with incredible people. Our dog Buddy was seen several times there and the care was superior but what really impressed us was the care they gave when it came time for Buddy to be put down. It was a very difficult time and the doctors and staff were so kind and thoughtful through the whole process. We stopped in this week to collect Buddy's remains and again the staff were so kind and thoughtful and the cost was much less than we were expecting. I'm going to tell everyone I know how great WVH is. Thank you so much for being such a great provider of animal and people care. It is appreciated!!

First class. Caring, and they don't steer you to the most expensive treatment. Real common sense approach. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Top shelf.

Used to be much better than it is now. After being with this vet and trusting them with my dogs' care for over 7 years, they missed that my 13-year-old had cancer, despite multiple scans, blood tests, and biopsies over the last 6 months of his life (costing me hundreds for each appointment). To clarify he was always healthy, so 13 was not old for him- he acted like a puppy most of the time. One morning he got very sick and the vet was completely unhelpful when I called. I ended up taking him to a new vet where he passed away. To top it off they didn't update his records so I got a "reminder" after a couple weeks that he was due for vaccines. Historically this was an excellent place but lately it seems like they're too busy, overbooked, and not providing the same degree of care they used to. They're quite expensive, and when they repeated a biopsy due to not collecting an accurate sample, I had to pay again even though it was their mistake. I also rarely got the same vet twice; if I wanted the same vet I'd have to wait much longer than seeing someone different and having to explain everything over again. Whatever their reasons or excuses are, they won't bring my dog back, and that outcome is unforgiveable.
