Comfort Inn - Pocono Mountains is a basic, no-frills hotel offering good value. However, the property is dated and in need of updating. Some rooms have maintenance issues like noisy AC or fridge, a faulty sink stopper, non-working lights, worn USB sockets, or a sewer smell from the drain. Soundproofing can be poor, and some guests noted an infestation of Asian lady beetles. While the price is reasonable and often cheaper than nearby hotels, some feel it is too expensive for the offered facilities, noting the lack of a whirlpool, restaurant, or fully stocked vending machines. Its location is convenient, being ten minutes from Jack Frost ski area and near a WaWa across the street.
I Have 2 stars over all because this should be an easy hotel stay for a night or two at a much lower cost. Yes it is clean, and continental breakfast is good. but it needs an overall update. Not having towels, a working phone, or a tub that didnt drain was an issue.

The room needed a good deep cleaning: dog? hair-rare's all over it; dust galore; sticky floors; mold on shower curtain; on the other hand, bfast was good each day with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, apple, toasted English muffins, Danish, coffee and Lipton tea!

They have a great experience for the price. If you go in expecting a five star motel, you might be disappointed as the building is older. However, the rooms are clean, the staff is nice, and the setting is gorgeous. Will definitely return. Oh the breakfast was good too!
