American Family Services Inc. is a clean and well-organized thrift store with a courteous staff. Shoppers can find unique treasures and good deals, especially during special sales like the 50-cent tag of the week on Sundays, where customers can purchase up to 10 items at a low price. Many items are priced very affordably, with some costing as little as 99 cents. The store offers a variety of items, including converted furniture and other interesting finds. Prices can sometimes seem high or inconsistent, and lines may be long during sales. While some staff members appear underpaid and unhappy, overall, visitors appreciate the selection and value. The store's business model relies on donations, making it a popular place for those seeking affordable items. Despite occasional complaints about pricing or service, American Family Services Inc. remains a notable thrift destination with a wide range of treasures.
