Tried to charge 200 bucks to change 4 light bulbs on a Toyota. 2 license plate bulbs and 2 turn signal bulbs because that’s what’s keeping it from passing inspection. I’ll get it fixed and inspected elsewhere and still save 50 bucks. Crooks.

While work done has always been good without any issues. When getting inspection done is a different matter. This is the second time they have charge me full price on emission test when it should have been exempt. They keep track of the mileage from the year prior so I don't understand why. I will start taking my cars to be inspected somewhere else since they can't be honest in there charges.

It took 2+ hours to complete a routine oil change. Apparently, their corporate online scheduling system allows people to double/triple book timeslots and doesn't take the number of available mechanics into account. That's not this location's fault, but unless you have a lot of time on your hands, I don't recommend coming here.

Whitehall, PA location: I booked a vehicle inspection appointment online for 3:00pm on 7/17/2024. I waited 1.5 hours before they assigned a technician. Then an additional hour for the actual inspection. The younger spanish dude with glasses behind the register, told me they honor appointment times…NOT! Customers who arrived after me were finished before me! The manager needs training in time management and treating customers with respect. Luis at the cash register works in reverse and doesn’t know the system. I will not recommend or return to Pep Boys.

The absolute worst experience yet! I waited 3½ hours for my vehicle to have state inspection & emissions done & stickers put on, along with a wheel alignment check & tire rotation. Beyond irritated due to the fact I know for certain they never performed a wheel alignment check simply because I was given no documentation that the wheel check was performed at all. And because I also know for certain my vehicle desperately needed an alignment performed due to it being checked at the previous shop before PepBoys, informing me that I needed an alignment done. My vehicle now is worse off then before bringing it to PepBoys. My steering wheel is loose and is no longer straight like it should be. When driving it sounds and feels like I'm driving on a flat tire. There is a constant grinding sound & feeling admitting from somewhere as well now. They also got the tan/off white interior of my Lexus all black from the grease on their hands when applying my inspection and emission stickers. Also ripped my aftermarket led lighting wires and the led light strip completely off. How that was even possible, because the way I have all my lights & wires run, nothing was exposed whatsoever. Not even making it a possibility for them to get ripped out by accident. And I have my young children that ride in my vehicle with me all the time and on occasion a dog as well. And not once in over a year's time has anything ever been ripped out. So I am extremely beyond dissatisfied & quite frankly... pissed the hell off!
But as I'm sure nothing will be done with even an attempt to try and figure out a solution and make up for the poor service their employees delivered. Which only makes a bad name for the company!

Removed 2 bent wheels and installed 2 new ones that I provided. Great price too! Before going to Pep Boys, I went to CJ's Tire & Automotive on Eberhart road and they were trying to sell me 2 new tires and wouldn’t install the wheels unless I also purchased the tires from them. I got my car inspected a month ago and my tires are fine…

I’ve gone to the place since I was young! I recently had a wheel alignment done on my SUV. I was able to set up an appointment easily on the website under my account. I was grateful for the $10 off coupon and texted updates on the progress of the alignment. Pickup was quick and easy! Hopefully, corporate gives this location some money to make the interior more inviting! So barren without the parts retail!

I just want to express my complete gratitude for this location.
I was driving up from South Jersey for a camping trip when I blew a tire out on the highway 15 minutes away from Pep Boys. Not only did a very helpful tow truck driver make it to us in 10 minutes, the mechanics had a tire on deck and stayed past their closing time to get the new tire installed so we can continue our still hours long drive.
Thank you all for making a stressful situation so much easier so I could still breath during my mini vacation!

I've never had any issues here. Service was prompt. Check for coupons. You can nearly always use one. The no interest credit has been helpful.

So first i want to start off with the fact that Louis lied to my face when i asked him about using mopar parts on my dodge he told me he would and he didn’t the part was nine hundred dollars i got my air conditioner and brakes fixed they talk about the pep boys service promise they have a sign hanging up in the shop that say trust your brakes to the pep boys pros i have now been back three times for the pros to fix the brakes of course they started with the cheaper brake pads i drive home from working they crying loud i go back now he is gonna use the ceramic ones i called asked if the brake pads came in he says yes i come back on my scheduled day just to find out they order the wrong pads and now im still waiting 2000. thousand dollars thee worse service ever i will never come back here again dealership here i come at least i know they gonna fix it stand behind there work take pride in there work not shrug ? it of as if it’s not a big problem i could loose my life behind the brakes not being repaired properly

These guys at Pep Boys are the real deal. Start to finish the service and patience was top notch. This is a genuine review and not just submitted to load up good reviews. Jose at Pep Boys gets it. His customer service and welcoming personality was exceptional. I usually go to another place near my house for tires for years. But I will be back to the Whitehall Pep Boys again.
