Very disappointed in their service they made us replace the wiper blades and charges $30 apiece and I got them done last month and the blades came apart already. I just cannot believe it and some wet spots around the window

Very quick, efficient replacement glass & recalibration services. They do a great job. In and out ( by prior a ppointment) in 90 minutes. Insurance c covered most of the cost to replace & calibrate my front windshield. They even put back my ez pass transmitter, where it belongs.

Wanted to push upcharges well beyond insurance deductible. After appointment (would not come to car), I was told they had limited waiting area so I should have someone drop me off and pick me up in 3 hours. So much for endless TV ads.

I had a weird windshield issue with moisture creeping in. It looked like it was raining on the inside of my car with all the condensation. I dealt mostly with Otto who was also perplexed by the issue, but they took care of the windshield. Service through my insurance company was really quick. Otto was patient with me and took the time to explain to me everything he was seeing. He even explained it in a way I could understand even though I have very little car knowledge. While waiting for my car, I overheard rude customers constantly berating the staff here, but they maintained their professionalism and treated everyone with the same curtesy they gave me. These people are clearly professionals and they know what they're doing. Car was fixed an hour earlier than I expected! Glad I didnt have to drive to Reading for this repair!

Make sure that when your insurance company and customer service at safelite have scheduled for service. Call the place ahead of time to make sure you are in the system. If you don't do this. You will walk in for your scheduled appointment and they won't know who you are and they will not have ordered your glass. This happened to me. I called safelite to get my windshield replaced. I called them back to make sure I was on the schedule. I then called safelite on the day of the appointment. They said yes I am scheduled for that day. When I got to the place, they didn't see me on the schedule. I said that I just called the same morning and they verified that I was on the schedule. The tech said I wasn't. I said look again. He then said oh....you are in the wrong que. He said that I have to call satellite again to get me in the right que so that they can get me on the schedule and order the glass. I then called satellite and told them the issue and they corrected it. I told the tech to check the system again. He did and I was now on the system where they can put me on the schedule and order my glass. I said great can that be done today. He said no you have to reschedule. So, they rescheduled me and ordered my glass. 3 days later. Everything went smoothly and I have my new glass.

Just had my wife replace the windshield. The work was done right. But safelite couldn't refer any shop who can put the stickers back to the new window. We are new to PA and we're not aware of such ridiculous "rule" that it had to be done by another repair shop. Very not helpful! Safelite should have a few shops you can refer your clients for putting back the sticker. Now my wife is scrambling to find a place to put back the stickers. Ridiculous! A simple information could help someone a long way. Safelite doesn't know anyone. Kidding me? Give names and addresses to your future clients!!!!!

Though my windshield installment seems to have no issues, after the service was finished, my car broke down and would not start on the way home, shortly after leaving their shop. I found out later(after a tow and a trip to a mechanic) that the intake hose was completely disconnected, which isn’t hard to reach at all. And when that’s disconnected, your engine won’t function properly and makes the car undrivable. When I called to speak to someone about this, it took 3 days to hear back. The assistant manager (Jeff) and the district manager (Todd) concluded that it must have been my fault, yet my car was undrivable immediately following their service. They said it was my fault. I broke down in the middle of a busy street and was lucky to not have been in an accident. Due to the very poor customer service and reluctance to take responsibility for their very likely mistake, I would not recommend this location/company whatsoever.

My tech Nathaniel was fast and proficient at his job. Very nice young man. I'd love to have him as a tech in the future if I ever have an issue.

They did great work, it was quick and on time. I deducted one star because for whatever reason they left me a voicemail the day before which I didn’t hear until later in the day telling me my appointment would be canceled if I didn’t call to confirm. This was not true at all and why would they have canceled it when I prepaid for it?Small speed bump but overall good work.

Had a nice crack in my drivers vision and they replaced it with nice OEM glass. Went on a Saturday and they were super busy but I got my vehicle back in the time frame that was stated and they were SUPER professional and accommodating. Windshield looks absolutely amazing!!!

Customer service is horrible, you cannot easily reach anyone at any time of day. They did not enter the correct time frame I specified as I work a specific schedule. The repair needed to be done between 800am & 12pm and they confirmed it was set up. Turns out they entered between 800am & 300pm so no one showed up by 12 as required. Not only is that unprofessional, it's false support to tell a customer a certain time frame can be met then enter a different time frame - that is unacceptable to any client base. I ventured to try them since they were close to my office despite the negative things I had heard, but my experience seems to have aligned with the negative reviews. I found other shops who do the same work and are easier to communicate with and they show up when they agree to show up.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had by far. They ripped paint off my car, gouged paint around the window, didn't vacuum the door panel at all and had tons of glass rattling around inside it, then the store manager Jeffery proceeded to give me attitude because I wanted them to fix the glass in my door causing the latch to not open. He said to take my car back in 2 weeks to fix the paint but has not responded to the 4 calls I've made over the past month. I've waited to give a negative review as accidents happen and I wanted to see if they would fix it but they are clearly trying to just ignore me so they don't have to fix their mistakes. Go literally anywhere else, I'd recommend sticking your glass back together with Elmers glue before I recommend this absolute horror show of a place. Do yourself a favor and pay a guy who can do it cheaper because at least then you'll be paying for amateur quality . They charge for professional quality and doan amateur job at best. Stay away and save yourself a headache

Run far far away from this place! Go somewhere else that will do QUALITY replacement window work instead of half a$$ing it. My fiancé took his 2021 VW Tiguan to Safelite on MacArthur Road after his rear passenger window was smashed somehow. Not only did Safelite NOT match the window tint to the rest of the windows on his car, but they also BROKE the back passenger window switch!!! They knew they screwed up the install and tried to act like everything was fine but my fiancé decided to check the window before leaving when he overheard another customer who had their window replaced at Safelite and had THEIR window switch broken too! The Manager on duty was telling the other customer that they had “no record” of the switch being broken and couldn’t prove whether or not the switch was broken by a Safelite employee or was done by the customer. So when my fiancé discovered that HIS switch was also broken, he made sure to bring it to Safelite’s attention before he even drove off the property. They told him that they would order a new VW window switch and install it at no charge. When my fiancé asked for some kind of paperwork or an invoice for record of this switch replacement, they told him that they didn’t have any paperwork to give him “but not to worry about it. They would call him within the week to get everything fixed.” Well, 2 weeks later and we still have not received a call back. When my fiancé called Safelite corporate to inquire, the person that he spoke with didn’t have any record or notes about a replacement switch. So long story short, if you enjoy getting jerked around, being overcharged for shoddy repairs/service, or having something damaged further, then by all means, use Safelite Auto and their mechanics. If you DON’T like any of that, then stay far far far away from Safelite
