The store itself is OK but two items I ordered were not delivered, the delivery driver instead dropped them off somewhere else. I called the club to complain, was kept on hold, hung up on and, when I called back, put in contact with somebody who could barely speak English and who could not resolve my problem. Then he hung up on me again.
They sent a replacement order out today, which the driver (third party delivery service) tossed wherever he/she felt like it rather than at my address. This was apparently in the neighboring apartment complex. The club did refund my money and I will go there and buy the items myself next week but they need to find a reliable delivery service. The one they have messed up the order the same way twice in a row.
The store's own performance has however been improving over the past months. People no longer have to waste time showing receipts to get out of the store, so this change is definitely welcome. I have accordingly increased my rating of the store.

they told me they stopped issuing cards a month ago and said you have to use the app. i really felt bad for the older gentleman behind me who had the same issue and did not have a phone. It seems crazy that a company the size of walmart would force people to use an app especially in northeast pa. If you want to get gas it’s even weirder, you have to give permission for the app to know your location. On the website it still states you can still get a physical card at customer service. This isn’t silicon valley do they really know customers? For me I was in IT for 30 years so i know how to use all this stuff-I just prefer to not use an app.

Learn to pick up the phone, and when you actually do pick the phones up don’t leave people on hold indefinitely.

Went to the pizza area and the lady with glasses, African decent, and poofy hair at the cash register told us it would take 30 minutes to get a cheese pizza with an attitude, saying, "aight, but it's gunna take 30 minutes. I ignored her tone, received the cheese pizza in less than 10 minutes, and then found meat at the bottom of the pizza, I returned it, and in the back at the pizza area where they were preparing stuff, she told anouther co worker," I'm not dealing with them, you can give it to them, I told them 30 minutes, so" I wasn't being difficult I just asked for a cheese pizza not with a side order of attitude. This isn't the first time she's been rude, and to other customers as well. I'm not the one who can't make a simple cheese pizza right, and wants to hide in the back and make rude comments thinking that customers can't hear her instead of just fixing the mistakes. She needs to take that negativity somewhere else.( To owner: Thank you for taking the time out of your day to address this issue)

New to the area and we left Costco to join Sam’s. Today was my first time visiting and the lady at the food court was incredible rude and was yelling at the other employees. Lady in the back washing and putting things away was unprofessional. The customer service experience was a disappointment to say the least.

I am dismayed and appalled by the way my whole online and customer service department handled my order! The Wilkes-Barre store customer service person said the pick up department had many call offs and had only 1 person working. That was around 3:15 p.m. when I called. Seriously??? Called after 4 p.m. was on hold, then got someone who placed me on hold again for a 1/2 hour then speaking to customer service in Asia fueled my fire. At 4:30 the order was ready, now I needed someone to pick it up as I am having guests for dinner. What away to do business. Was this Sam Waltons business plan? I hope not.

Today was my first time buying at Sam's club and I went to food court to buy pizza 🍕 for my children I asked the staff if they have a box of pizza and the lady responded to me very disrespectfully as in a racist matter. Also, proceeded to tell another employee to “ handle me “ or grab me “ that she doesn’t want to take care of me due to me only asking a simple question so that I would know how much food I should order.

The family/handicapped restroom was locked, and I need to assist my handicapped client. It was inconvenient and dangerous cause I am female and cannot enter men's room. However, your employee Mason was absolutely amazing and helped walk him in and out. I cannot say enough good things about this considerate, caring employee.

Love the scan and go app. super fast and easy. Also, the scan and go and gas price is awesome! It's getting crowded, but glad to run out of there fast. So here's an update. I was told I could renew my membership for $20 for being a veteran. I called customer service and they said I had to go in the store to get the discount. I went in the store and the girls at customer service wanted nothing to do with me. They told me to renew online (even though I was told to go in the store). They also said I'll get a $30 gift card for the military discount. Long story longer, I didn't get the gift card, contacted corporate, they blew me off, gave me a $10 certificate, so I ended up cancelling my membership. Apparently if you have an EBT card, you get a year at Sam's for $15! So $20 for VETERANS, $15 for EBT people?! Sam's does NOT care about veterans. Fighting for this country is less important than having food stamps according to Sam's Club. This is a good place to boycott.

Scan & go for fuel & shopping always makes for a pleasant experience. No matter the time of day, they are always busy. Inadequate number of handicap parking spaces. Limited number of mobility scooters and 1 person to check shoppers out made for a terrible experience.
