It’s been common practice for me to stay away from any and all of the “Clips” (e.g. Sport, Great, Super…) because barbers/stylists should apprentice under a master for a while rather than being turned loose on anyone’s hair the moment a test is passed and the state prints a license. Unfortunately that’s missing here; Willpo is a ghost town if you’re looking for master barbers and a great experience. So I broke my rule out of necessity and visited this location. I watched each person work for about 30 min before jumping in a chair—I chose Jess H. She was terrific. She listened, took her time, let me get to know her, got to know me. She was real, and she was kind. As someone that for more than a decade spent on average $75/cut, I was never disappointed with a $20 cut here.
Unfortunately, I learned today that Jess was let go. Very disappointing business decision as I suspect several people (myself included) were referring new business to Great Clips and encouraged to ask for Jess H. With her gone, and no one else in-house that I trust, I won’t be coming back. And for context, it’s the lack of other quality options at this location that I felt justified my 2 star review.

Staff was very polite. Good conversation. Understood what I asked for and matched the haircut. Timing was good also on the haircut

My 14 y/o son requested a #2 clippers on the sides and scissors on the top. He sits very still. The stylist cut his hair very uneven. There were long hairs on the top, one ear was cut around one ear was not, and the back was not straight at all. He was very disappointed and it was very obviously crooked.

I personally hate admitting to a bad hair cut but this was BAD. i provided MULTIPLE photos MULTIPLE. not 1 not 2. THREE PHOTOS. and i let her look at them for a good bit. It felt like the lady who did my hair was more concerned about my personal life than my hair that she was doing. She also cut way too much off my hair was below my chest and i only wanted it to be above my chest but she cut it to ABOVE my shoulders. They should have to tell if they are worried about their inability to do that haircut a customer is asking for. Thanks [yes i do feel really bad for writing a review but now i have to wait for my hair to grow out like it did before.]

I always get my hair cut here and they do a good job. Today I will say the girl that did my hair was AMAZING wish I would have gotten her name to only book with her. She got my hair exactly how I wanted it and her attention to detail was on point.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but Jesus. I went in for a simple trim, shampoo, and blowout. I knew it was over from the jump when my guy didn’t shampoo anything but the top half of my head and proceeded to glob conditioner ALL OVER MY ROOTS. Then he didn’t use a towel to try my hair and left it dripping as I went back to the chair, but whatever. The trim was fine, but bro does not know what a blowout is. Not a round brush in sight. First off, there was a large front piece of my hair that I had to move to be correctly parted that he just didn’t do himself. And again, no round brush, no heat protectant for the blow dryer heat, forget any blow dry spray, and it was just dried straight and frizzy. I went to get a shampoo solely because I forgot to bring my products home, and I just paid to go home and redo the entire service minus the trim. I only recommend if you need a trim. Nothing more. Insane how bro didn’t even know how to properly wash hair.

The lady that trimmed My my hair had a attitude. She literally just trimmed my hair never touched my bangs. Only complained about my hair. I did not need a attitude and trim. I went in for a haircut. Never been so disrespected in my haircare life.

The haircut was great and the stylist was polite and very friendly. However, I tried to sign in at 9:07 and kept getting kicked to another Great Clips in Lewisburg. I called the Williamsport salon and asked to be put on the list, but the stylist that answered said he couldn’t do that, and there would be a 75 minute wait. I tried explaining the issue I was having, but he said he was busy and hung up. When I arrived 10 minutes later, there was indeed a 75 minute wait. I had to rearrange clients to accommodate the wait. Not happy about that.

I'm usually a barbershop guy but like great clips in a pinch but normally wouldn't leave a review but, Jess I think was her name, did an excellent job not only on my hair but her vibe was immaculate and customer service was on POINT. I'll be returning just to vibe with her again
