I have been a member for decades.. I can't understand the negative reviews.. The credit union and the employees have been top shelf for me....

West Branch Valley FCU was organized in 1952 by the employees of Avco, Inc. Avco was the first Select Employer Group to belong to the credit union. As the credit union allowed more Select Employer Groups to join the membership became more diverse and geographically disbursed. The credit union was founded and grew on the philosophy of meeting members’ financial needs with personalized service. On July 27, 2010 WBVFCU’s Board of Directors announced it had adopted to convert its charter status to a community charter. This allows anyone who lives, works, regularly conducts business, worships, volunteers, attends school in, as well as businesses and other legal entities located in Lycoming County to join our credit union.
