“South Philly quality Italian hoagies in the suburbs. Everything I've ordered has been great, but my favorite is "Sam's Deluxe" with everything on it. The top-quality mortadella and super thin-sliced sharp provolone make it an exceptional sandwich. I walk around and pick out Italian specialty groceries while they make my sandwich. Love that they have so many hard-to-find pasta shapes and lots of prepared cook-at-home dinners (like stuffed shells, lasagna, parmigiana, etc). Only one negative thing to say: sometimes I feel a little bit like the staff is judging my shopping choices, but it's easy to ignore them. Cashiers are always super friendly.”

“I see a review about out of date products on shelves. Most of these stores are run by families and it’s very labor intensive and sometimes have not put time aside to around checking expiry dates on products. The suppliers to these stores are often also very deceitful and they deliver the products which have already expired and unless the owner of the shop checks every box they are unlikely to catch the culprit suppliers who do this on purpose as they have a huge stock sitting on shelves for a very long time and they want to cheat the small store owner instead of getting rid of their out of date products .”

“This was a very professional system and order from the get go. We ordered our lamb? in advance 7 days and was given a time frame to pickup the meat on the first which was today on our receipt. Owner and workers were very helpful in locating our lamb selection and were very courteous in asking how we lke the slaughter cut done. Thank you Al Baraka for a memorable experience and organice eggs ?. We definitely happy to have found this place ?”
