Lives up to its name. Giant aisles with a wide variety from pantry , frozen, pet and bakery. Well organized and clean. Also noticed a drop off childcare area. What a great idea!. Every employee I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. I really like this supermarket. A+

Started using Giant Direct during Covid shut down - they mastered it and I will NEVER go back to a regular trip to the supermarket. They even pick the best produce (they avoid complaints this way I'm sure) - 2 thumbs up!

This review is for the Giant Pharmacy in Willow Grove. Hannah and her team go above and beyond. There was some questions regarding the availability of one of my medications and they made sure they got what I needed so I didn't have to miss a dose. From calling other pharmacies to calling my doctors office. I can't thank them enough. They are the best of the best!

Went to customer service with a Western Union money order and was told they don't do Western Union there. There is a sign right next to the register. With that I was told he can make a money order but not cash one. That doesn't make sense to me so 1 star.

Do not ever use delivery service. I got sick and didn't want to take the chance of it being Covid and going in the public, so I ordered at 8:36 am . It is now 10:13 pm and my groceries still haven't arrived. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have called the store several times and got the run around... just wow

This review is for Giant Direct Delivery in Willow Grove PA 19090: Hi. I received my second Giant Direct Delivery order today 1-18-22. My very first order was about two weeks ago, 1-5-22. I live very close to Giant in Willow Grove, and I have always only shopped in the store. Well, because my sister and I got sick on Dec. 28 for ten days, I thought that I better order from Giant Direct Delivery. My delivery experience on both occasions was terrific. I am very pleased with their delivery service. The Direct Shoppers do a great job; I received all my original orders except for maybe two items. The produce selections chosen were superb--very big and fresh. Great email communications throughout the process. The best is that if you forget something, you can add items to your order, and Giant gives you a lot of time to do that. A friend told me that other stores do not give a lot of time to add items. They also email you a final invoice of what you are receiving and not receiving. The drivers on both occasions were courteous and pleasant. I highly recommend Giant Direct Delivery service. I was grateful to have it when we were ill. Marianne

It's a great store over all then I heard this: Upon leaving the store I overheard a couple making horrible and insulting comments about a black worker at their store. As it turns out these two Erin And Nick are a couple that work at the Willow Grove store in PA they were saying they were going to get that N****r out of there I was mortified and wanted to see/hear what I could have on these two and report them. Advertisements The name badges said their names that is how I knew them plus they were laughing and kissing the girl had pink and purple hair she was saying it was funny how he, her boyfriend said about the coworker and that no one could prove it. They didn't know I was listening the whole time these two people are apparently managers and should not be working in a friendly store such as Giant I have never known any of the Giant markets allowing Bullies and racists being leaders at any of the stores I have visited. This is appalling and should be addressed. If I was the girl/lady they spoke about like this I would be lining up my lawsuit right now because this is no time nor is it ever a time to treat people with such disrespect. Its disgusting. User's recommendation: Keep their ears open you never know what people are saying about you. Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution. They should be fired both of them.

Went to buy beer and wine the other day. I had two items that I wanted rung up separately. The cashier rang up the first item and asked for ID which I presented. He completed the order and rang up the second item and again asked for ID. The guy just saw my ID 30 seconds ago. I asked why he needed to see it again and his reply was "Just following protocol sir". Giant has a policy of carding everyone, even if the customer is clearly 60, 70 or 80 years old. It gets inconvenient, especially when you're a repeat customer and the cashier recognizes you, or you get carded twice in 30 seconds. It seems that Giant does not trust their cashiers to use common sense in their job. Also, what's the deal with scanning a customer's ID? I've been buying alcohol for many years and Giant is the only place that has ever done this. Not crazy about that.

Why is it so dark in the store? Need more or better lighting. Light lights need more lights

It's a regular old (90 years, that is) big-box-supermarket, but it has a decent selection of organic & 'upscale' items. They have tried selling more finer product (like & fresh duck, lamb shanks, and offal), but the local yocels unfortunately haven't bought enough to keep it from spoiling on the shelves. (Despite being now owned by too-big-to-fail Amazon, unless Elizabeth Warren has her way, I still go to for fresh & wild seafood.) Nonetheless, PA-based Giant is a good choice (and often $-value) for marketing. Today I tried the in-store-made Rotisserie Chicken Salad; it was quite good & I recommend it to you, dear reader. This store has several Community Rooms (with full AV equipment & where I've led training more times than I can recall) that they allow groups to use for free (at least for non-profit organizations like Scouting & the Appalachian Mountain Club); might be free for all, but I don't know for sure. (In the interest of full disclosure, I am a Giant stock-boy.)

This Giant grocery store is probably one of the best ones I've ever been to. I'm extremely glad it is so close to my new home! Not only that, they are also a "super" Giant. This one has liquor and a little food area where you can purchase and eat hot food or cold food. They also have a community center, partnered with Abington Memorial Hospital. I had a coworker come here for a little group support for post-partum. This is a very huge super market, it also has an extensive variety of gluten free, organic, and vegan goods. Not only that, but anything that is not grocery or food related, they seem to carry a lot of other things as well. Like, who would've thought you can find very well-made heel liners for your shoes for JUST $1.99??? That is amazing! And a huge life-saver when I really needed it for my high heels (too loose) that morning. The workers here are pretty sincere and always willing to help or give a hand as well. When I come in, someone will greet me or ask if I need something when I'm looking confused. I think by now they might recognize me better since I like to shop here to so much. It's nearby the Willow Grove train station, maybe a block and half away, so it's easy to get here if you're getting off work! Perfect location.

Store is ok, my main concern is the temperature, I realize grocery stores need to be on the cool side but pack your parka, gloves and hat, store is downright frigid. I could not finish shopping, too uncomfortable, left without buying a thing
