Dr Young and his team at Animal Hospital of Willow Street have cared for my animals for over a decade, and I am so grateful for the time, attention, and kindness they have showed me and my fur-family. They have provided medical support to my four dogs and two cats, as well as grooming services at every stage of life- and have done so with professionalism, humor, and compassion. Even my more reactive dog feels comfortable with Dr Young and Dr Winning, and adores her groomer. I highly recommend this vet, and really can't say enough good things about them!

Been taking our dog to this vet for yearsssss. So we took our cat in because she's been throwing up and having issues. We got a new vet who who was terrible. Told us our cat needed surgery immediately and gave us an amount we couldn't afford so we asked what our options were and he continued making us feel as though he was giving a sales pitch. We asked what our other options are, just like everyone would do, and just like humans do when going to the hospital. He continued to give us the sales pitch and we inquired about putting her down and he noted, in a smart tone, "this is why we get our cat spade." Making us feel even more guilty and as if it was our fault and made us feel more deeply it was our fault AND THENNNN continued to give us a sales pitch. We won't be going back here and will be making sure no one else we know does.

Expensive. Had a few teeth pulled for my dog and they charged me 1300 bucks. After quoting me from 800 to 1100. They're thieves.

Nice people. Good vets. A little expensive. " Pet Peeve " Tired of being told not to let dogs jump up and down from bed. Do they not know how hard that is ? ! Dogs jump ! On the positive side today we had to put down my roommates cat. They were very kind and supportive.

In July 2020, while riding on the Enola low grade trail, a young feral cat ran up to me and my husband. Very strange, as feral cats don’t typically seek out human interaction. We realized the cat was injured and, once we gained enough trust to pick him up, we whisked him off to the nearest vet: Willow Street, which was closing in just a few minutes. The poor kitty had an open wound under his chin and it was seriously infected. But the team at Willow Street immediately took this cat in, even though he wasn’t anyone’s pet. We already owned 2 cats and didn’t think we had room for a third, but we couldn’t stop thinking about the cat Willow Street helped us save. They told us he would make a full recovery (after 3 full weeks at the vet) and damnit this cat FOUND US! Willow Street didn’t even demand payment when we decided to keep him; they merely suggested a minimal amount and we were more than happy to pay it.And that’s how a cat we initially called Enola became our beloved Lincoln. This office is everything a vet’s office should be. Thank you Willow Street for giving life back to Lincoln! We are forever grateful.

I would never consider taking any of my pets anywhere else. Even feral cats if need be. My 12 year old dog Handsome developed an ulcer on his left eye. The vet tried everything they could to save the eye but it kept getting worse. We finally had to remove the eye. While he was recovering from the eye surgery he somehow swallowed a handful of change. We ended up having to have a penny surgically removed from his stomach lining. Then his right eye became infected. I was devastated, I was going to help my loving companion across the rainbow bridge because I didn't think he could have a good life as a blind dog at his advanced age. The vet, sorry I'm not good with names, talked me out of that so we went ahead and had Handsome's second eye removed. A couple of months later Handsome developed a really bad cough. So bad that we took him to the Emergency Pet Hospital in Lancaster. They told us that Handsome has pneumonia and that he had cancer. The wanted to put him to sleep. They put 7 other pets down during the time we were there. I think that's all they do there. I will NEVER take any animal there again ! I told them no and brought Handsome home. The Vets at Animal Hospital at Willow Street saw Handsome as an emergency basis on Monday morning. Handsome did not have pneumonia and Handsome does not have cancer. The other vet wanted to murder my dog for no reason !!! Handsome is now being treated for Congestive Heart Failure, which was the real problem, with medication and is doing just fine. Handsome will be turning 15 years old in a couple of weeks. Through all of this Handsome LOVES all of the staff here. Especially Emily. Handsome gets excited when we tell him he is going to see "his doctors". We take him out of our van when we get there and he walks across the parking lot and right in the door wagging his tail the entire time. Yes, he does very well being blind. It's freaky, sometimes we swear he can still see........ We also have cats we bring here. I had a Feral Cat come in the house. I called to make an appointment but could not catch the cat. I called and apologized the day of the appointment and rescheduled. I had to cancel the second appointment also because I could not catch the super intelligent wild cat. That cat is finally a pet now and I can get her into the pet carrier. The staff was completely understanding about the cancellations and I'll be bringing "Slinky" in real soon to be checked over. I could go on and on and on about how great Animal Hospital of Willow Street is. I recommend them to everyone who asks. Will & Cindy W. & Handsome, Zippy, Zappy and Slinky

I took my dog there for a injured paw, I’ll admit my dog isn’t the best behaved when he is scared but Dr Owen came in gave him his updated shots and my dog growled at him and he yells at me telling my dog it’s ok, besides that he looked at the wrong paw and diagnosed my dog. I won’t be going back. I also waited 20 minutes to get the meds and pay

I have been going to this practice for a long time and have NEVER been disappointed. The entire staff truly cares about my babies and are always there to answer questions. They have gotten me through some very difficult times and have always been extremely supportive. I feel like they are part of my family and am incredibly thankful for all they do. Debra Loose.
