Love your store. Bought some blu rays and nes games. Is there a new console where you can play with other players live online over the internet? If so what console do you recommend and what games work to do this?

I love Just Press Play. Love the atmosphere, their inventory, and their staff. But, over the years I've noticed things start to change that raise some red flags. It seems that it's becoming less of a mom and pop store, and more of a corporate entity; which is fine. But I've started seeing a couple things that are rubbing me the wrong way. Trade in credit, in my experience is less than it used to be, which is understandable considering that they have their own expenses to worry about, as well as staffing across different branches, and at the end of the day they need to be profitable as well. But the main issue I have is their pricing. Often times I've seen games in their glass display cases that are priced 20-30% above recent Ebay sold listings. I like supporting local businesses, and there is a thrill of being able to go to a store and see that game that you've been looking for and purchasing it in person. But if Ebay can provide the same games with similar to better condition for a better deal, often times with free shipping, what's the point? One thing that they have changed that I'm actually quite fond of is that they carry collectibles like figures, statues, and little gaming themed decor which is often imported from Japan. That's really neat. Hopefully things change in the future, but from other store owners I've talked to, as well as friends that used to frequent the store, we all have the same opinions. There are many places that I would much rather go, even if they aren't nearly as local.

My husband and I frequent all the Just Press Play stores, but this store in particular has a ton of stuff that I just keep coming back for! Dave and Chris were SO kind, friendly, and helpful while my husband and I were shopping. They answered all our questions and showed us where we could find everything we were looking for. We will certainly be back to this location!

Other locations are more friendly to their customers and have a wider variety. Called this location to find out about a game that was suppose to be transfered from one store for me to this one based on being closer however I called back and said I had a miss call from them the guy goes I have no idea, what was the message they left you, told him I had a game on the way for me and said well I don't know what my other guys were calling you for and I don't care. Hangs up on me and that was that. So I called the location closer to fruitville pike and they apologized for the interaction and said they had a copy of the game that was being transferred for me. Wont be coming back to this location. Most definitely going to the other one. Also thinking about it I gave a timestamp from when I had my miss call, the guy could've asked his other coworkers to see what was the reason for my call or looked into the matter but the care level here is obviously not high.

I’ve been to all locations in Lancaster County but the Kendig Square location is closest to me. I’ve been coming here since they opened and all staff is great and knowledgeable. All locations have such an impressive selection of new, preowned, and retro games/consoles. Prices are reasonable without a over inflated markup. I’m very grateful that JPP is in business and can basically rely on them to have exactly what I’m looking for between the different locations.

Doesn’t do anything to remedy scam/error packs for trading cards. Also the employee was reluctant to pull the problematic box off the shelf. And also said “I have to do something else” instead of checking another pack in the box to see if something is wrong with them. Avoid this store for trading card products.

Guy was smoking outside and told us rudly no come back in the morning to test our system. It either shows the team is not allowed to work a little past closing, which in the past I have seen. I been to these locations before and never had problems. I think it was a young kid that does not want to work past there shift and that is lazy. Also no where does it say that you can't bring in your trade ins after a certain time.. No respect!!
