The drive thru is horrible you sit and wait . I was here before someone else took their stuff firstvand i was already here waited 5 minutes . When i called again the teller was rude. And still was rude.

Short version: Uninformed staff, mistakes in procedure, unreliable loan servicing, and unclear communication make this bank one to avoid.Full version: I applied for a HELOC with this bank a year ago and was repeated denied despite being qualified on the basis of income. When I challenged their decision on the basis of discrimination, my loan was reviewed again and Members 1st admitted they made a mistake. My loan was approved and funded. It's tragic that it takes such an approach to get the bank's attention.Fast-forward a year. I'm trying to pay down on the loan in challenging times.Problem 1: Multiple reps keep saying different things about how to pay down on principal. Some say you can choose which loan draw you want to pay, others say you can't. The worst part is multiple staff members, including supervisors, have said the procedure is unclear to them. If the staff are confused, clearly there are serious internal problems.Problem 2: My loan balance has been adjusted several times and at this point I'm questioning whether their numbers are accurate or not. I've spoken to several supervisors and no one has given a definitive answer.Problem 3: Staff/loan servicing supervisors DO NOT return calls despite promising to do so. I spoke with loan supervisor K______ last week who agreed to review the account and get back to me on Mon or Tues. One week later I'm still waiting on a response. At this point, I decided to post a review and escalate this situation.Advice for M1st: You have good potential but seriously need to work on your procedures. Train staff and educate consumers so everyone's clear on what to expect. Finally, be fully transparent. As a consumer, it should be clear to me what amount of my money is going to interest vs. principal for EACH draw on a HELOC.

Time to close account. This bank is dedicated to reducing their hours. They were once accessible, but have a new notice that makes their hours even less a accessible by other banks in the area. Which means waiting for someone on the phone is laughable than just driving to another bank.

Although everyone that I spoke with was so pleasant and helpful, I am a bit frustrated. I still, after 3 failed attempts to change my pin # and trying to get help to reset my account, have not succeeded because I am locked out of my account. The prompt asked for the PRIMARY account holder's ss info and their birthdate, NOT the cardholder. Naturally, I put in my hubby's info as he is the first person listed on our joint account. Because of this, I not only wasted and hour-and-a-half, but cannot use my card this weekend. Not happy...

I made a payment 7 days ago and the system said it was accepted, so i continued to check my account but no withdrawal, finally I called and they said it was not in the system, this is a good way of screwing up someone's credit score.

I really enjoy the friendly staff at this location with regular transactions. However, don’t try to get a loan etc correspondence is horrible.

Unfortunately, the continuously long lines and wait times at this bank have made me close my account. Every single time I come here, there is a very long wait. All I want to do is make a deposit, easy right? I tried to go in the lobby and it was locked up, couldn't get in without an appointment. Other bank lobbies are open, why not this one? I had to wait in the drive through for 30 mins! This was the straw that broke the camels back.

Rarely answer phones. Dont expect to get any kind of personal loan. Doesnt matter how much you make, own a house, and have a co-signer. They will tell you theres not enough disposable income.

More like MEMBERS LAST. They do NOT put you 1st. They are so quick to charge late fees and even in times of Covid-19. They don’t care if you don’t have any income. They don’t have any programs to help. They will keep charging late fees and not remove them. No remorse for their customers at all. I had some money come in from a GoFund me for my father’s funeral expenses and they were harassing me about the money. They wanted me to use that money to pay my loan. I was absolutely appalled by this. These people don’t care. My father just passed and they just wanted their money!! Disgusting bank. Go somewhere else, not worth the stress.

After leaving a message with a department in how I felt I was not treated with appropriate customer service, Stephanie contacted me today and addressed my concerns. It meant a lot to be heard and know that someone is listening. That is the first time I have ever had any business or bank actually take my concerns seriously, and it means a lot (particularly as someone who works in customer service and values the job). Thank you! I previously left a review not recommending this bank, but my encounter with Stephanie (and another customer service rep this weekend who was very kind) has made me feel folks at this bank do care.
