Attended a small luncheon for about 12 people in a reserved dining room.First, party was to start at 1pm. Arrived shortly before 1pm and door is locked and no lights showing through the windows. They didn't bother to unlock the door until someone called the number listed on their website. Meanwhile, everyone had to stand outside and this turns out to not be a good neighborhood. BTW, you can either park on the street or in the DG parking lot.Once the door was unlocked, the guy disappeared and we had to wander around through various dining/bar areas and figure out where we were to dine. The entire time we were in the restaurant we only saw two staff and no one else. The decor is very old and dated. Fortunately the restroom was clean. We found a room that had a buffet set up so we assumed (correctly) that we could be seated. We had salad, fried chicken, ham, potatoes and veggies. The food was mediocre and only somewhat warm. Dessert was slices of various cheesecake.Between the sketchy neighborhood, the locked 'restaurant', no parking, mediocre food, etc. I cannot recommend this place. This place was chosen based on the previous good reviews, but none of us could understand how they were earned. The 3 stars I gave them is quite generous.

This is not a review; this place has been closed for quite some time. Unsure why it has not been deleted.

I rated it one star because it isn't open any longer. I went to the attached convenience store.

I remember the old days when first married going to station brake w their magician and wild game offerings. The owners are fantastic and the food is still delicious thou business is obviously slower as there was a time you needed a reservation to get in. That said, food is delicious and still unique in many ways and while the prices are steeper for area, groupon offers nice deals which we use.I enjoy the chicken parm while my wife tries different courses but everything we've ordered has been tasty, nice size portions and their hot bread bowl is just tasty as all out.I enjoy giving business to local biz owners who pour their heart n souls into the business and I'd rec everyone to try this place out when virus ends

Mr Setz has always strives for the very best! He wants to retire now, after all, he is approaching 69! I wish someone that has the desire, take him up on an exceptional offer to own this place. He has poured is heart and soul into this establishment to make IT A PLACE "something special! A great opportunity for a chef or an entrepreneur to make a great business move! You will get not only the physical location of the property but also receive all the great recipes and most likely all the very faithful employees to boot! This would be a fantastic opportunity for generation x and even the millennia that really want to work to succeed in life! Oh Geez, I am heading there now for a great meal with great service, come on, join me!

Station Break is a little out of the way restaurant that my wife and I enjoy going to for anniversaries and special occasions. The food is always excellent, being one of the few places that can make a good rack of lamb. I will continue to come to Station Break so long as it's open.

NOW WHAT YOU READ IS NOT A TEST!!! Their food is a HOT MESS!!! Went there for a nice dinner and we should have turned around as soon as we smelled inside the front door. The waitress had an attitude as soon as we walked in. We proceeded to wait a long time before she took our drink order. I asked about a baked potato. She said she doesn’t recommend it. It’s microwaved and isn’t cooked right. I ordered the lobster and was told “We ain’t got no lobster.” “I wasn’t here yesterday.” So we ordered something different from the menu. One person had salmon drowning in a white-slimy, sauce with gnats circling it. Another had a New York strip steak drowning in gravywith huge chunks of soggy mushrooms and looked like a pot roast. I ordered lamb chops. They were bland and tasteless. Our sides were beets, broccoli, and buttered noodles. Nobody ordered beets!!! See photo below. Bland, microwaved, freezer burned... So once we realized this meal was unpalatable, we decided to speak with the manager. When our waitress made it over to our table, we addressed our concerns and was told she was bringing the bill. Fast forward... The owner miraculously appeared out of nowhere and asked what the problem was. I repeated what I told the waitress and was told he was calling the police. He called 911 and told them we were trying to skip out on the bill. Minutes later the police arrived. The owner gave their version and theb we gave ours. The officer asked if they could make it right. NO WAY!!!! To make a long drawn out story short... we are officially banned from the Station Brake Cafe and I couldn’t be happier!
