Rite Aid Windber office is really busy. The techs, pharmacists are great. It is short staffed. I urge local residents to keep going there. Many people in this area walk most places. This store really needs to remain open for elderly residents in the community. Please urge Right Aid to keep this store in our little town.

The pharmacist was extremely rude.. they were taking EXTREMELY LONG to get my son's prescription ready.. when I seen that they were having a hard time, I tried to help her.. because it is my son's emergency seizure medicine, and I have to use it all the time, I know about it.. so I tried to offer help. One to help her, and also because I had none left at my house or on me. So, it was very time sensitive.. I was just trying to get it quicker (because I was already there for a half hour, and I got there before they even opened.) but the pharmacist was very rude. then, instead of putting the medicine in the package properly she just threw everything in a bag. My son's emergency seizure meds DEFINITELY should not be easy to access. that's very dangerous. Definitely do not recommend going to the Windber Rite- Aid.

The Windber PA Rite Aid Store has finally brought back my favorite Pharmacy Tech of all time, Deanna. She is such a personable, kind, and caring person. She knows who the customers are, calling them by name, asks about the family and is truly a great asset to your business. Don't ever let her get away.

Been using this pharmacy as long as I can remember. Never really an issue until this year. I had two different prescriptions within the same week get delayed. The second prescription I came to the pharmacy to pick it up almost 8 hours after it was called in. They told me there was no prescription in the system for me. I called my medical provider who confirmed it was sent in and when they called Rite- Aid a second time the pharmacist told them they did receive and I was there too early to pick it up? (too early, 8 hours later?) I understand things get delayed especially during these times - but lying is one thing I can't look past. Needless to say I'll be using a different pharmacy, which is unfortunate because I've been using Rite - Aid for many years.

I wish they gave an option to add ZERO stars!! The pharmacists are TERRIBLE!!! No compassion, disgusting attitudes and terrible customer service!! I had to switch pharmacies because of being treated like dirt by the pharmacists at the Windber location. The rest of the staff are friendly and know how to treat customers. Consider new pharmacists before they run into the wrong person, someone who doesn’t take their nastiness!!!

These people could care less about you 150k a year pharmacist does her job 8 hrs a day and wonders why people are turning their backs on medical and pharmacy people. Because the majority care nothing about anyone but themselves. Typical for Rite Aid and Windber. Look at some of the reviews, they don't care whatsoever about anything but their paycheck. Boycott chain pharmacies, how long will we let them get away with constant profit only motives.

Worst pharmacy in the area hands down. Pharmacists are rude and items are never ready on time. Do youself a favor and switch somewhere with prompt and friendly staff, we did.

I'd also give zero stars if I could. They really don't seem to care about customers or their needs. Still waiting on a prescription refill that was sent over 2 weeks ago. This happens every month at this location. We call (and call and call) and no one answers the phone. If we go in and ask- their response is abrupt and repetitive....they don't know where or when it will be there. Such a shame that they are basically an embarrassment to their company.
