“I broke down in Johnstown on a Friday afternoon, about an hour from home, and my car was completely dead. I didn’t know anyone in the area and couldn’t get it running myself. I called Berkebile Towing & Auto Service, and Rob came out to help.
The car wouldn’t start, wouldn’t turn on, and couldn’t even be shifted into gear, but Rob still managed to get it safely loaded onto the rollback and back to the shop. Within about 10 minutes of arriving, they had it running, pulled it into the garage, and fixed the problems. I was back on the road in about two hours, and the car has been running great ever since.
Everyone there, from the owner to Rob and the rest of the staff, treated me like family. The price was very fair, the service was excellent, and Rob went above and beyond to help me during a stressful situation. I would recommend Berkebile Towing & Auto Service to anyone. “10/10 experience!
I dropped my car off the night before, right before they closed, and they still called me first thing the next early afternoon with a full diagnosis. They went over what was wrong, discussed the cost of repairs, and got my approval before starting any work, which I really appreciated.
My car had misfire symptoms, and they quickly found the issue and got it repaired. They had my car diagnosed within 24 hours of it being on their lot, and I was without it for maybe 48 hours total before they called to say it was ready.
Fast, reliable, professional, and great at explaining both the problem and the work being done. They even found a couple of additional issues that fixed a stubborn check engine light I could never get to shut off (they of course asked for my approval before fixing the additional things).
Such a great small-town business with kind, knowledgeable people running it. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back here for any future work. Convenient, trustworthy, and close to home, couldn’t ask for better!”
