Windber Recreation Park and Pool is a fun place with a lot to do. The pool is perfect with very friendly and helpful staff. The water is a perfect temperature and everything is very clean. The new kids splash pad is awesome. There is a playground, trails to walk or hike, volleyball, basketball, pavilions of different sizes, a skate park, dog parks, and tennis courts. Added events include bands, beer, and night swimming. The picnic areas and restrooms are clean. It is a nice park to walk in with a paved circle drive. One can easily spend hours here. Beware of bugs and snakes.
