“I love this quaint little post office branch. It has a truly hometown neighborhood feel. And, there is rarely more than a 2-3 minute wait, even on an afternoon. The clerks inside -- (dare I call them "clerks" ??) are down to earth and approachable, always friendly and welcoming, adding that rare human/personal touch to their face-to-face interactions with customers. They greet you when you arrive and smile and say "goodbye, have a good day" when you leave. These may seem like simple facts but they make all the difference. If you've ever stood in a post office line for what seems like 20 minutes behind 6-7 other customers, only to encounter a robotic grump behind the counter, that can be a very irritating, aggravating experience. Merion Station is a little slice of heaven, where kindness, friendliness, and efficiency are the standard. Thank you, Merion Station Post Office!”

“For business purposes— I’m required regularly to go into local post offices. Out of the many— this spot is where I prefer to go! It’s nestled out of the way so it’s not overly busy but when it is, their staff is exceptionally prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. On many occasions, Stephanie has thoroughly assisted me with international shipping woes. She is so helpful and truly the reason I am taking the time to write this review!! Give that lady a raise!! :)”

Everytime I visit a post office, it is always super crowded and I haven't visited this location in a long time. It was great to conduct my business and leave promptly without any hassle whatsoever. “Antonio at the Holmes Post Office is a wonderful Post Office representative, and he was extremely helpful to me today when I found all the mailboxes in my area of Delaware County to be bizarrely locked to open only about a quarter inch. I called the Holmes Post Office and Antonio was able to help me while still keeping strict Covid safety protocols in place. I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service at the Holmes Post office. For the USPS to lock mailboxes to only open a tiny amount, forcing a much larger number of people indoors during a pandemic, is both irresponsible and unnecessary. I had four thin packages about an inch in thickness, in medium-size mylar envelopes. There is no reason in the world why I should have to go indoors to mail these during this time when a highly deadly pandemic is ravaging our nation. These envelopes would have easily fit into a normal outdoor mailbox, the type which has been opening enough to allow both letters and thin packages to be mailed for at least the last 50 years. Now, why, during this time when everyone should do everything possible OUTSIDE, would the USPS decide to force people INSIDE for no reason? Thanks to Antonio for accommodating me and doing things SAFELY. He deserves a promotion! Excellent customer service at the Holmes location, highly recommended.”

Easy in and out 1,2,3. Also the staff is always friendly and fast. Unlike other post offices, such as Springfield, they are quick with their counter service and packages always start tracking right away.”

“I dropped off a package this morning at this location. The post office was open right on time and the postal worker couldn't have been more attentive and courteous. I asked for some fixed-rate Priority Mail boxes and he made it a point to double-check that they were fixed-rate boxes instead of just small Priority Mail boxes. We should take the time to commend people when it's warranted instead of just complaining.”

“Despite the odd hours, my wife and I have had great experiences at this location. They were helpful when our mail wasn't being delivered by telling us where to go and what to do. I was going to skip a package last minute and would've spent much more if the person at the counter hasn't told me about some of their other shipping options. While the odd hours can be a challenge occasionally and this location seeming to be the 7-Eleven of USPS in terms of capabilities, they've always been great and helpful.”

“Good Evening Google Family. I have visited this location in the past, but left no review. I needed to mail two letters, my two thank you letters. They have new mailboxes and I can never find the opening or slot to put my letters. I asked when I went inside and the young male mail clerk came outside and explained to me that due to mail theft, the post office has instituted a new opening in the mail box. I could see that now. Boy do I feel like an idiot!!! All this time, I never knew the slot was right there. Boy, you find out and learn new things every day. I slotted my letters and away I went. Short and sweet. I would definitely come back here and purchase stamps. A good experience. Have a good night, workout, be fit and Fabulous!!!!!”
