Considering the prices for vintage woodworking tools (hand planes in particular) have skyrocketed in the last few years I feel the prices were very reasonable. I picked up a near mint no. 7 Stanley which are hard to come by and a couple of Stanley jack planes that were missing parts and needing some clean up. I’m not a collector but I like to restore them and use them if they’re salvageable.Gone are the days of easily finding super cheap Stanley’s, but if you want to support a local business with a rich history, if you want a fair price, and if you want to talk to an experienced craftsman, you’ll love this place.”

“The Clover Market actually moves around the area, and the one I went to this year was held in Collingswood. I heard it was the only one in Jersey this year. They claim there are 100 vendors, but I really don't feel like it was that many, though I saw that there were a few booths were artists split a booth. Now, this ain't your neighborhood grandma using Michael's ribbons on sale with her 25% coupon to make wreaths that you slap onto your front door. For many of the booths, it was gallery quality, and the prices reflect as such. Everyone was super, super friendly. My favorite booth was the guy who handcrafted amazing whirligigs. I had to buy a flying pig that used bird feathers to catch a breeze. Stunning, and for $40, I had to get it.”
