“I left a message on ShopRite Site. I am very disappointed in your store brand Bow and Basket chicken. I purchased some around 2 weeks ago because you had offered Purdue on sale , however when I got to your store on a Tuesday afternoon there was only Bowl and Basket. When I got home I separated the chicken and it had some black feathers on it. This is pretty unusual as most chickens have light colored feathers. I separated it and put it in the freezer. I cooked some Sunday ( I purchased family packs of wings and thighs) I was quite surprised because there were veins and other nasty looking stuff around the bones. I am a senior citizen and I have never eaten chicken that looked like that and it didn't really taste like real chicken. Can you tell me what the difference is. Are you selling pigeons as chickens?”
“I just love the group of butchers! As a red meat lover they get me! I brought almost an entire tenderloin today and they went over and beyond to assist me. In the past I’ve left with only 1-3 packages of meat. However, lately I’ve been able to get exactly what I wanted. Thanks guys; keep you the good work!
