This Rite Aid pharmacy at 284 E. Lancaster Ave. is the best pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. They are kind they’re friendly. They always answer the phones and they always help when you need it. I really highly recommend five stars!!

This is my favorite Pharmacy i’ve had in a long time. The Pharmacists there have gone above and beyond helping me in situations where they didn’t have to.
And, despite the fact that the closer location closing and the traffic they’re doubling, the Pharmacists and their assistants already know me by name and grabbing my order while in line.
I’ve always tried to respect them of their work and their time. Telling them thank you, etc. I respect that it can’t be an easy job….everyone is always sick or in pain, so usually not the best of moods from the start.
So, take a person in need, and then they have to be the “Middle Man” in between the gamesmanship of Doctors, Insurance Companies, Medication Manufacturers, the FDA, etc.
And if they can still do that with some feeling behind it….then you’re better than me.
Couple quick points to address from previous reviewers.
HOURS: They Close for 45 Minutes for a Lunch. Same time. Every Day. It’s posted everywhere. Never seen them late to reopen. Don’t try to go there twice at the same time when they clearly are trying to eat and maybe it won’t seem like they “closed more often than not,
STORE: In case no one has noticed, but all of the Rite Aids are in rough shape…not just this one. That’s a corporate problem.
I’ll leave it like this..:i agree…this location is the worst….definitely go somewhere else. I’d prefer keeping it to myself.
There are not many places anymore where you actually feel like you are truly getting some type of customer service…i just couldn’t not stand up for the peeps my favorite Pharmacy ?

I paid for my prescription online ordered it to be delivered to my house. I kept receiving text messages saying that they were going to return my medicine to the shelf if I didn't pick it up. I called and they said you have to go online and do it again, which does not work and I had to go in to pick it up as a huge inconvenience to me. The person working the counter (same as on the phone) tells me it wasn't in the system for mail delivery, but that is not true because it says right on my recipe that it is "RX MAIL DELIVERY". Who screwed up here, Rite Aid's system or the person working there?

I was forced here against my will when the Ardmore store closed, this place looks like its closing in the next couple of hours. Dirty, whole shelves empty, a boarded up window in the front, and a Pharmacy that's closed more than its open. I guess I'm going to have to get a new pharmacy.

The store is dirty, shelves often half filled, and the wait at the pharmacy is often interminable.

This RiteAid is NOT customer focused. Is it any wonder they are going out of business?

Severely understaffed, if calling the pharmacy, expect to wait on hold for 30+min

Absolutely horrible pharmacy. I walked in for a Covid booster only to be turned away for not having an appointment. The website said that walk ins were welcomed, but then the pharmacist said walkins are not welcomed because they are a busy pharmacy, keep in mind absolutely no one was there at the time. Was there for 15 minutes and maybe one other customer came in. I’m a pharmacist, you don’t turn away a pregnant patient looking to get her vaccine. Seriously do better.

I stopped going here in a couple years ago, because the little troll in the morning couldn't control her emotions. She constantly yapped away to a coworker about her personal issues. The tone always angry. Then she would stop talking, look at a customer and yell at the customer! It sounds like Rabbit Moon met this weirdo. So when I toss my things on the counter and say "you have no right to speak to me in such a way", she makes up a story to the manager and he stays he "banned the customer". So not only do they have mentally ill people working here, but weak management who enable abusive behavior. ? Weak management. Garbage employees.
