Customer service is the worst. Also return policy of 45 days is terrible. In order to get the item you want you have to order early. I ordered matching dresses for my granddaughters not realizing the 45 day return policy. They will not return or give store credit. Your loss. The dresses were not worn with tags but no longer fit and I couldn’t return them. I called customer service and spoke to a man that was rude and not polite. They can at least give you store credit. They just lost a loyal customer with their policy and rudeness

We were running late but got there two minutes before closing time to pick up an order. Yay! Only to have the lady working meet me at the door and say I can't come in. I said I'm only picking up an online order, but she said the register is closed. Before it was even closing time???? Very rude, and terrible customer service. I went to Target and got exactly what I needed there.

I purchased 6 items and 2 were not entered into the system. It was inconvenient to have to go back to get my receipt adjusted to reflect the current adbertised pricing. It's much easier to shop online unfortunately. Also, I did not fund the clerk very friendly . No apology for these errors. Was told : "that these are in store specials", however, why isn't the rest of the staff aware to check before it's scanned incorrectly!I enjoy the variety and great selection there is for my grandchildren. I did find what I was looking for.More time should be spent educating the staff on good customer service ! Sadly, it's everywhere you go now:(

Tbh. When walking in the building there is no ac and it’s hot as hell. How would you want customers to shop in a place like that, let alone the employees working there. Children’s place needs to get their shot together and invest in ac.

I visited this store today and I could not make it through the entire store. I felt like I could not breathe. Now it is 86 degrees outside today and the store felt even hotter. At least there was a slight wind outside. This store feels like a sauna. I feel like this is a breeding ground for bacteria. I mean we all know kids tend to touch everything so germs are being spread around as these kids wipe their nose and then touch stuff in the store. I could not even take the extra time I would need to spend the money I had on products because sweat was just running down my back. I ended up just leaving after 20 minutes, my mouth dry and my shirt soaked. I needed to go home and take a shower from what I felt was a workout just walking through the store. Maybe I can return in winter when it is colder outside and walking into a store feels good when heated. I don't know who corporate can feel that this is okay for employees to work in. Get them some air conditioning for God's sake!!

The AC hasn't been working for a month and it's the hottest month of the year, its crazy that corporate won't let the store close because of this problem. That's not fair to the workers that have to apologize to the customers for the problem when it's not their fault, and they have to still have to work in the heat. Corporate is being very petty for not allowing them to close the store until this problem gets fixed. But the workers are very nice and they actually care about the customers.

I was at this location to return some clothes. The young girl helping me was very nice and personable... but let me tell you about the woman who was behind the counter with her- who had her dog dressing it in the clothes from the store and using a stapler to make them fit. I'm an animal lover don't get me wrong... but there is a time and place for when to be doing this sort of thing. Just very unprofessional in a store setting with customers coming in and out. Also people may have allergies to animals... and truly you are not supposed to have any "pets" in your store. I do not believe the state would approve of this.. especially during COVID... again I love my pets! I would never have them at my place of business... I was taken a back. He was on the counter right where you put your items to purchase.... lol oh well ?

Purchased boots online for my child about 50 days ago. They were too small, so I immediately purchased the next size up that fit. I planned on returning the size that was too small. Before I could do so, my family experienced a sudden and unexpected horrific death. Assisting with arrangements and logistics for my family obviously required my attention. Spoke to Tara at Wyo today, they're unwilling and unable to make an exception of roughly 5 days on their 45 day refund policy for a pair of boots that are obviously brand new. All Tara could offer was an exchange...which I don't need, because I already did myself. I was even willing to accept store credit. Won't be shopping here anymore, and I suppose I'll be getting rid of my CP credit card. Looks like we'll be sticking to the cute kid's clothes at Old Navy and Target. Half the stores in the Wyo Shops have closed, looks like CP is next.

This store deserves 5 star because customers service is amazing. First children’s place that actually cares about customers I always come here to shop. As of today the children’s place has to do better and I’m speaking about corporate. On 8/21/2021 I went to shop for school clothes the store is a mess( never a mess) I always see Someone fixing and cleaning behind customers and helping everyone that walks thru them door but today system was down the line was extremely long which is never long. Manager that is working today was apologizing to every customer that she helped. She was also training someone and ringing and answer questions that another employee had which really surprised me that she was able to do all of that plus more. She helped me find everything I needed even with a huge line which that’s soooooo amazing! I told her how grateful I am to have someone like her to work in retail. Above and beyond but the children’s place does not have enough workers to keep up with everything and I truly feel it’s unfair for those who are working are killing them selves to provide great customer service. I’m sure they don’t even get paid enough to do EVERYTHING in that store. Wyomissing is such a great store to shop employees connect with their customers but today I saw the stress and struggle it was to keep this store running. I hope someone sees this post and do something about it. Plus store has NO AIR how can you allow your employees to work in a condition like that. Please someone help them. They are amazing and I would hate to stop shopping here. The children’s place help your employees and have them work comfortable and not in a stressful environment. Thank you hope to hear from someone. Wyomissing employees you guys rock! Don’t ever change how you guys work with customers.

Hands down the most unhelpful, incompetent store you could possibly hope to visit. They will cost me hundreds in an online order because they are incapable of common sense or making anything right. Go absolutely anywhere else. Another branch, another brand. Do anything but use this particular store for anything.
