Wyomissing Optometric Center is the best! Dr Umlauf is efficient, always on time, and addresses any questions I have.I quickly got on his schedule when I mentioned wanting to switch from glasses to contacts at my yearly exam. For the fitting I struggled to get them in the first time, but Kathleen worked with me and while I'm not a pro yet, if it weren't for her I'd still be wearing glasses!The front desk staff is awesome too. Check-in is easy. They explain insurance coverage to you and check coverage for you too. When I had to schedule my contact appt they worked with me to get me on the schedule quickly.

I had my very first eye exam with Dr. Corbin at wyomissing optical. What a wonderful experience! All of the staff are so knowledgable,kind, caring and helpful! Dr. Corbin saw me through the whole process! Jennifer eloped me choose my first pair of glasses and she was amazing! I felt more like I was at Tiffany's picking out a ring then just getting glasses. I highly recommend going here!

I had an eye emergency and called Wyomissing optometric on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Dr Corbin called me back and he didn’t hesitate to see me on the same day. I was pretty scared and upset but Dr Corbin really helped to put me at ease. Also the follow up care provided by Dr Corbin and Dr Stefanick was great. Thank you!!

Dr. Legge and Dr. Corbin are the best practitioners we’ve ever experienced! They take the time to really listen and their advice and procedures are spot on! Many thanks and kudos to Heather in the optical department for her knowledge and willingness to please her clients!

Tanya was fantastic and turned what was almost a negative experience into a positive one. Dr. Burrell is excellent. I would not recommend their Douglassville office, but the staff at the Wyomissing office is always very kind and helpful.

One star is too generous for Dr Corbin and his eyeglasses. Big waste of time and money over the years. I was told they cannot fulfill my needs!

I have been going to this group of eye doctors since 1978. I have always reciceved great service from the entire staff, from check-in to check out. The doctors and staff that do the testing have always been easy to deal with and always take care of my needs. My wife is also a patient there.

I was due for an eye check up and new glasses. My prescription had changed slightly. When I picked up my new glasses yesterday, the prescription was way off which made the glasses un-useable. John asked that I wear the glasses for a while to see if my eyes would adjust. I told him I would do so, after 24 hours with the glasses they are worse, not better. I cannot read with them, and everything looks like it is in a fish bowl. I called John today to ask how they can be corrected. His answer was that I had not given them a proper chance and would have to wear them until next week before he would do anything to address the issue. I have been wearing glasses for more than 10 years and understand that when a prescription changes there may be some acclimation to the new prescription, however I also know when they are far from being useable and need attention. The lack of respect for customer input is astounding, and insulting. After I get these sorted out I will be looking for a new optometrist.

Ancient build and professors. Don’t hither here if you value your time. 10:30 appointment didn’t begin until 11:15, then needed a boat load of adjustments. Cannot possibly recommend these sublime “queens”

I went in for contact exam. While checking Out I asked if I could could have a sample bottle of saline solution for the contact lens testing exam they charged me $60.00 for. The angry girl at check out said we don’t do that. I walked back to the exam room and Dr. Corbin gave me one without any hesitation at all. The following day they called me to tell me my lenses are ready and I could pick them up at my convenience. When I arrived I did not have a mask. I was berated by the same girl who checked me out and told me that she’s gonna charge me a dollar for a mask made it clear to everybody in the office aware of her power. She humiliated me and made me stand out in the lobby because I didn’t have a mask or dollar to give her. But somebody really needs to sit down with this girl, and I’m sure if you look in your records you can see who I’m talking about and find out who checked me out. End of story.

Called them to make an appointment for my 4 yo daughter with a bad eye infection, they asked for my insurance gave them all the information and they said I was good to go coverage was approved and good to go. Get here the day of the appointment and they tell me they don't actually take my insurance and tried to say I must have gave them the wrong information. Ridiculous I read it right off the car name and number and this chick tries to blame me.

This is my second time using Wyomissing Optometric Center for my eye needs both of which include an eye exam & glasses. From start to finish, this care provider is professional & happy you choose them to assist. I am very particular when it comes to my eyes & choosing glasses, all of which the Doctors & Optometrists, namely Dr. Legge, Sue, Jennifer & everyone else are extremely helpful & patient with. The front end is also beyond friendly & happy to assist! Dr. Legge explaining everything to me when having an eye exam & Sue was beyond great to work with as she adjusted my frames prior to having them made so minimal adjustments were needed as the one pair needed nothing at all. I feel valued every time I walk in there & am more than happy to give them my business as I know I can count on them. Go here before just going to a store; this is more than a store....

I just had my annual checkup and had the glaucoma test done on the new test equipment to check it and I must say that it was far more easier than the older white screen test. The new equipment is much better. because you are testing both eyes at the same time. Great upgrade.?
