This store is incredibly frustrating ever since they began to force use of the app. It rarely works, randomly logs you out, and the in-store Internet is terrible. I refuse to pay the inflated prices because I'm unable to jump through the hoops necessary to use the broken down app. I've shopped here for almost 20 years, but I think it's time to go to McCaffrey's or Wegmans.

The 5G mobile coverage has become quite weak, making it almost unusable. 📶 If you are using Instacart or similar services, it may take a significantly longer time to complete a batch due to the slow internet connection. 🐌 Please be aware that the app may encounter difficulties while attempting to reload order items and customer chats. ⚠️ At the time of writing this, the store's Wi-Fi network was broadcasting its SSID, but it did not respond when prompted for sign-in. 🤔 I am unsure whether this is due to an authentication or certificate issue, or if it is specific to my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. 📱 Additionally, the store's Wi-Fi connection is also not reliable. 🚫
Re: thank you for your reply Giant I'll most definitely be back and continue shopping with you. Hopefully it was an isolated occurrence / bad luck day. It's funny how cell service is 100% outside and turns into a black hole dead zone inside. 🤷🏻♂️😆

Last Monday I made a small order to be picked up and when I got home, I noticed that a three pound bag of apples was on top of a bunch of bananas instead of under the bananas. All of the bananas were badly bruised, and one was so bad that it was not edible. Those were the only two items in that bag. Staff should be trained better as how to bag. Everything else with the order and pickup was fine.

This particular Giant really pisses me off. I have NEVER placed an order without them being out of stock of their advertised items. NEVER! Also, what's up with expired and or stale food they peddle? Their only saving grace is the bakery. Their donuts are fantastic, always over filled with goodness especially the Boston cream and the chocolate iced with white cream filling. They never chintz out on the filing and they're birthday cakes, no matter what icing you prefer, are delicious but the real show stopper is their CHOCOLATE BOMB CAKE. This is the reason I always return.

Can someone explain if you want people to use digital coupons? Why is your Wi-Fi un accessible through the store? It really doesn’t make any sense. Your own employees complain about how horrible the Wi-Fi is. It’s not a hard fix. Do better.

This is a small grocery store. So the selection is limited, and they run out of items, particularly sale items. Expect to be overcharged on a number of items on each shopping trip. The prices charged at checkout are frequently higher than the prices posted next to the item. For example, I was overcharged for 3 of the 12 items on my last trip. Here's an example from a recent shopping trip: store brand allergy medicine, 90 tablets: Price at the shelf: $14.95. Price at checkout: 22.49 -- overcharge of $7.54. I contacted Giant headquarters about it, but they didn't care enough to get back to me after more than a week.

Since February 29th 2024 I've had 3 separate transactions where my food has been expired . This is now the 3rd time I have to go back and get food that is not expired. I've constantly contacted the store and district managers to prevent this issue. I specifically come to this one as it's nicer but the nice appearance doesn't make up for the constant expired food.
