Guy working the counter is very friendly and professional but still does not know what side is up like the rest of the post office employees. Post office broke item during shipping. Put in claim under insurance. Received letter stating to take item and package to ANY post office for inspection. Went to Yardley post office and Mr. nice and professional stated he could not help with that, he is not qualified. What kind of qualification do you need to look at an item and say yes that is broken and the item matches the proof of purchase already provided? Mr. nice and professional tells me i must go to go to the Morrisville post office and politely provides me with their address. I drive to the Morrisville post office and stand in line for 15 min. I get to the counter and explain why I am there and this guy looks at me like I am speaking a foreign language and says I do not know anything about how this process works, let me get someone from the back. He comes back a couple minutes later and teller me the person I need to speak with is out today so I need to come back tomorrow. Really! In 2 post offices there is only 1 person who is capable of looking at an item and confirming the item is broken! The letter said take the package to ANY post office! Time wasted going to Yardley post office then Mr. nice and professional wastes more of my time sending me to the Morrisville post office where there was no one to assist me there either. Yardley postmaster might be nice and professional buy he is not very helpful or knowledgeable.

The current postal employee managing the office is beyond belief exceptional in terms of friendliness, efficiency, and professionalism. He's retiring soon - wishing him the very best and hoping the excellent service continues.

This is a one-person office, but that person makes this location consistently the best, most helpful, most efficient, most cost effective, and friendliest I have ever experienced. I hope he stays put!

Great local post office with all the usual services and stamps. Very professional staff. Avoid going near the end of the day as the lines can be long with local businesses doing mass mail outs.

I went to drop a package at this post office and was told I was using the wrong box. Instead of sending me away, without asking the person at the desk took it upon himself to help me out by cutting off the label, getting the proper box, and repackaging it for me. I was so stressed out this morning that this act of kindness really restored my faith in people. Thank you for the top notch service!

What ever happened to "“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds,” I haven't received my mail in a week ! Unacceptable, somehow Amazon is able to make deliveries, as are UPS and FedEx !!

this place is without a doubt the worst place you can imagine. They are shut down every day for 1 hour and 30 min for there lunch break and would never work 30 seconds extra in order to help a customer. Its a great study of the mentality of some people in the federal work force. Thank god we have private mail companies like FedEx and UPS that are great to do business with and don't lose billions of dollars a year like the USPS

I love the Yardley Post Office! Yes, it is a small location with one clerk and sometimes there is a line, but the clerk knows my name and is always very friendly.After coming here for two years to mail products for an online business, I rented a PO box for my business and would MUCH rather go to Yardley Borough than ANY other post office because the service is much more personable.
