My first time at this salon and it’s such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had been looking for a long time for a stylist with a certain skill set, and Nicole is that. She’s definitely the best at what she does. I absolutely love my hair. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new hair stylist.Service: Hairstyling

I ordered product and never received it. I filed a dispute with my credit card company because they did not respond to my emails after a month. Technically they could have drove 10 minutes and dropped off my order. Apparently they do respond to credit card disputes.

I have utilized The Glam Factory Services for 5 years. Like any woman who invest heavily into her beauty, I always left extremely satisfied and feeling beautiful. It is with great sadness I will never return nor recommend their services going forward due to their discrimination of me. On November 26th, the day before my 9 am appt, I received a phone call at 4:30 pm from the shops assistant to review appointment. The next few sentences horrified me as the shop indicated I broke one of the salon chair, and were encouraging me to bring my own (folding) chair to my appointment because Nikki did not feel confrontable having me sit in her brand new chair. I was utterly offended and traumatized by this conversation. When I asked for clarification as I have never had this issue at any salons I have visited in my life. The words use were “ We are not blaming you per say… The chair has a weight limit… We want to make sure you and Nikki are confrontable…and you are not the only plus size client we are calling.” The decorum of this conversation was disgusting. How do you gauge if you will provide a service to someone based on weight you cannot confirm? The fact that a very poor visual assumption was made about my weight and if I broke the equipment was devastating. Never in the conversation did normal wear and tear was spoken in the same sentience. I was told the new chairs are expensive and the weight limit is 350LBS. As a reminder, this is coming from her assistant. I never received a personal phone call from Nikki herself. So, my question is going forward will the Glam Factory now have a scale for all their plus size clients to use in the shop to prove they are under the weight limit??? A salon for woman is like a sanctuary where she can be her most vulnerable and beautiful at the same time. For me, who has spent thousands of dollars and countless hours in one location that is not my home, I thought respect was more than earned as a kind, generous, loyal client for 5 years…. Please remove all of my pictures from your social media as I am no longer a client….

I ordered a full lace wig. It's hard to find or get a wig to the right blonde. This is the perfect platinum. The quality of lace and hair are great.

It's been about 10 days since I took my weave out and I'm just getting my feelings together enough to write all this up. So, I'll start out by saying this: I didn't have a bad salon experience. Nikki was personable during my consultation and my salon visit, and everyone there was pretty nice. My issues are with the quality of the hair and the install itself. I got my hair styled the day before a wedding I was in, and my appointment was booked a month or so in advance. I booked a consultation first to talk about my options and we decided on a closure sew in, pin curled so that I could have to worry about the curls falling before the event. She dissuaded me from getting the frontal as it would require more maintenance, and recommended that I buy the hair from her so that she would already have it on hand and would be able to prep the hair ahead of time. I followed her recommendation and she even walked me through the purchasing process when the closure she recommended was not active on her webpage. So, fast forward to my appointment, she does my hair the way we agreed upon and sewed an elastic band onto the closure to lay it flat. I've never had this done before but I trust her as she has been professional up to this point and she has great reviews on StyleSeat. She pins my hair, I leave and tie my hair up as soon as I get home. I unwrap my hair the following day and my hair is gorgeous. But I notice a few things. 1. The hair I purchased from her has a very noticeable corn chip smell. The like that you'll recognize if you've purchased cheap hair from foreign vendors before. It was almost a foregone conclusion of getting weaves 10 years ago when I first started buying hair from independent vendors but it's been a long time since I've had hair that smelled low quality. 2. The bleach she used to bleach the knots on my closure got on the roots of the hair. This is a common mistake when bleaching closures and frontals, but I would think that since she had the hair for so long before my appointment, she would have used a rinse or dye to fix that. 3. This is the reason I chose to write a review instead of just chalking the situation and not going back. If this helps anyone in their decision making, I'll be grateful: that elastic band was resting on my hairline. I thought it was sitting over the wig cap but she had cut the wig cap so that it was only under the closure. I had a deep side part so the closure was placed on the side of my head and the elastic band RUBBED MY EDGES OFF. I've never had any issues maintaining my edges. And I didn't get the full scope of how the band was installed until I was removing the weave. I have about 2 inches of my hairline across the front that have rubbed off and even a few ingrown hairs that popped out while examining the area afterwards. My hair under the closure is fine so it's not the glue that did it. It's the friction from having that band stuck to my head for the 3 weeks that I had it in. I'm devastated. Book with caution.

Got my hair done here and I would not recommend this place to anyone . For starters ,My appt was at 10am . I did not leave the shop until 8pm , the stylish left the shop and left me with her braider for hours. Hours later she came back to finish my hair . He pretty much does all the work . He did do a nice Job at washing my hair . But She using him to stall ladies and makes him charge u first which was the first bad sign . Then your whole visit the stylist try’s to upsell ? and take her sweet time cuz she already has your money ? My weave was absolutely horrible . My closure was over bleached she had the nerve to charge xtra 80 to bleach a closure . She literally ruined my closure . Then kept trying to sell me her trash ? hair . my closure wasn’t even sewed down to my head .I got home and it lifted all the way back same night . Never Again ?
