This was a great experience I've been a dirt racing fan in the local area for a very long time and I don't know why it took me so long to go to this cool little museum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great little place to take a weekend trip and go see some Sprint car, drag racing and other racing memorabilia. They operate on donations so please help them out.

I took too many photos! Place is amazing with the amount of history in that building. The whole staff was very nice. I started with a tour guide, but also had kids that weren't into it as much as I was. So I'd like to go back and stay with the guide and hear what he has to say. This guy knew everything about ever exhibit. We were in there maybe an hour and that's not enough time to read up on each display. If it's close to you come back a couple times. It's worth it to get as much in as you can. I went in there as not a huge racing fan, but I quickly wanted to learn more and more about everything in there.

After passing by the sign along Route 15 for several years, I finally took the opportunity to stop, and I'm thrilled that I did. The museum features an incredible collection from several historic tracks, racing series and car types, and feels virtually endless. I had the great fortune of a gallery tour led by Brandon, who was fascinating, generous, and a wealth of information. Thanks to the staff and volunteers for a wonderful experience.

If you have any interest in cars, you’ll want to visit this place. There’s so much to see and you won’t know where to start. Luckily, there are extremely knowledgeable and kind volunteers who are excited to show you around. If you’re lucky enough to meet Lynn, who is the retiring curator and a former racer himself, you’re in for a real treat. We were incredibly appreciative of him for being willing to give us a private tour and for sharing his wealth of knowledge. He really knows his stuff, but what stood out the most was his passion. It made for a very memorable experience. If you go, make sure to stop by the gift shop and pick up a few knick knacks or get a membership. This museum is unique and deserves the funding to stick around for generations to come. We’ll definitely be back and have already started recommending our family and friends to visit.

This museum has so many amazing exhibits. They have everything from early race bikes down to the evolution of different motors that were used in racing. As a bonus we found this photo below in the slick track motorcycle section. In the photo is a very young Donald K. Smith, my uncle who passed away on New Years Eve last year. Definitely a worth while trip. Plus they have a little cafeteria where you can grab lunch!

Really cool museum with lots of artifacts. They have all sorts of different race cars even one in which you can sit.Kids friendly with the nicest staff of any place we have visited. They have two-track pinewood derby with several cars for kids to race. Even though it is free to enter, one visit is worth tens of dollars.

Start out. I'm not a racing fan. That being said, this is an amazing place. The cars, the artifacts and memorabilia really impressed me. The staff, you can tell, are knowledgeable and have a passion for this facility. More than worth checking out.

If you have any time at all, visit the museum. Now if you have a few hours to spare, get a tour from the wonderful experts and enthusiasts! We spent 3 hours enthralled by Rick Mandelson telling stories of racing and cars and life. Ask him about his cars, his friends, his family, and about that one time as he met Albert Einstein...

I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. It has a very large collection of race cars, engines and some motorcycles. It's free but they do have a donations receptacle. The exhibits are numerous and presented well with good descriptions of what you are looking at.

Hidden gem filled to the brim with racing history. Super friendly volunteers who have great stories and information to share. Highly recommend!
