I never make 1 star reviews but AT&T really needs to step up. I went to at&t to get a phone that was cheap and can support going to mexico I wanted the Samsung A13 which said 20$ (we will get to the price later) and then we asked the person to give us the phones we wanted and they said they were out of the A13s And then we asked for the newer model A14 5G. And then they brought out 2 phones One A06 and the a14 and then they said they only had 1 a14 in stock So they could not give us 2 A14s and then On the board they said it was 40$ BUT when we try to check out IT WAS 150$ PER PHONE. LIKE THE HIGHEST LINE THEY HAD FOR THAT PHONE WAS 90$ and then we left because that price was crazy so my family went to the walmart to get the phones by at&t they were 70$ each and the line we wanted was 30$ And then the lady who worked there said we had to wait tomorrow around noon for a special guy to active the phones so we went in walmart the next day with the guy and he said WE NEEDED TO GO AN ANOTHER AT&T STORE because he could not get the phones actived And then we had a person who worked for at&t for years and he said we had to do it online and then FOR SOME REASON IT WOULD NOT BRING US TO THE RIGHT WEBSITE AND KEPT SENDING US TO A AD we called customer service and said they could not do anything and then my mother had to return the phones and then we went with mint after. Poor customer service. DO BETTER AT&T!

Do not stop in this store. The associates did not “check me in” until 25 minutes of waiting with no attention (but they stared at me) and then I had to wait another 25 minutes. After that, the Associate did not ask me if I needed help setting up my new phone, instead deactivating my old
one without telling me as I was using it, handing me the bag with my new one, and ushering us out. Order online if you don’t switch providers, all you have to do is scan a code and not deal with incompetence in customer service.

This AT&T location has decent staff but the guy that helped me out was beyond ridiculous. Was here back in June picking up a 15 Pro Max and I said I didn't want protection on the phone for an additional 17 dollars a month, the guy added it on anyways. Needless to say whenever I upgrade next I will be going to the Hanover location instead.

Shawn is Absolutely amazing! I had a horrible experience at the Market Street AT&T. Shawn made is all better and flipped my experience and I ended up walking out with the phone I wanted. He explained everything carefully and helped me make the best decisions without trying to get money out of me like the other store did He also fixed all the mistakes that the other store did. He was very personable and you can tell he loves his job. Thank you Shawn for everything you help me with will definitely be coming to him again the future

The first sales associate that walked up to me was chomping on his gum with his mouth open. The way I was raised and the way I was taught in the Marines is that you get rid of your gum while you’re working. Now maybe it’s not that big of a deal these days but I have a medical condition known as Misophonia. This means I am extremely sensitive to various noises, sounds and movements. I asked Alex if he could throw his gum away for me due to my medical condition. He completely ignored me by staring at my phone as if I hadn’t said anything. I repeated my request and he responded “uh yeah, I’m not going to do that.” His voice tone was one of mean sarcasm as if I asked him to give up his first born child. As I said earlier, in my generation chewing gum was a no no, period. I can get over people chewing gum while working, even though I don’t agree with it, as long as they keep their mouth shut and therefore don’t make any chomping and disgusting noises while I’m trying to talk. He, Alex in the west York AT&T store, is very inconsiderate and really doesn’t care if he’s bothering someone or not. I would strongly suggest you ask someone else for assistance as Alex just has no clue as to what being a professional really is. On a side note, while traveling to a football game with my close friend, I heard him chomping disgustingly on gum. I asked him if he would mind throwing it away and he responded with a “no problem” and threw it away. My friend is also my pastor at church and understands my having problems from my medical condition. Alex had no desire to ease my anxiety by simply throwing his gum away. Chomping on gum while working with people is just rude and inconsiderate. This best describes Alex. If I were you I would ask whoever greats you if their name is Alex (wears round glasses) and if it is, just ask for someone else.
