Wish I'd read up on Truist before taking the bonus offer. They want to charge you for each transfer to a different bank's account. And now despite ACH deposits totaling 10x what the requirement was and making more than twice the required debit card uses, they sent a form email denying my bonus--on Christmas Eve. On the phone with customer service a few days later they still tried to tell me that I didn't qualify, then when I pushed said they'd put in a "research request" and send me an email answer. I said they'd better call me. They'd better fix it or will lose another customer. I have never had a problem meeting bonus requirements til this bank decided to try a bait n switch on their terms. If they fix it, I'll fix my review.

Horrible customer service. Waiting times when there are no customers at the bank and attitudes from every teller so far. Go to any other bank but here.

Got put on hold waited for 10 mins and then they finally picked up and then hung up on me called back twice after that and both times they just picked up the phone and hung it right back up. Very poor customer service.

They’re terrible, I almost lost a deal because of them. I have my business account with them and a business card with them and refused to give me a loan.

Many months ago I stopped at this bank and this guy ask me for my ID it upset me because I was in hurry. I thought Bob was just mean. When I go to the Dover bank they know me so identity is not an issue. However after my identity was stolen I realized that Bob was protecting me so I went back to the bank today and apologized to Bob. Now Bob says we are friends. SERIOUSLY, so sweet, so kind and so forgiving. Thank you Bob you are my hero!

I just want to give a shout out to the guy who is always at the drive-thru window. He is awesome! Always friendly, always personable and just seems to go above and beyond in little ways. He should be recognized for his great customer service!

If you go here, ask for Brendan Groft, he is super helpful and informative! He was able to answer all of my (many) questions on savings accounts and help guide me in the right direction. I went in knowing very little and came out fully informed and confident in my decision.

Most horrible bank ever!!! I was told I would not be waited on cuz I raised my voice. All I have to say is what happened to the customer is always right? As soon as my pending transactions post I will be closing my account. The lead bank made me out to seem like a liar which I did not appreciate at all. And when I was there I said f*** and all the tellers gasped like they never heard the word before... Really people??? U all live some sheltered lives... Rant over!!!

I work with a business that banks with bb&t and I had a missing recipe. I called back and asked if it was left behind.. figured it out and it was. One of their employees called back and had a attitude with me telling me to get my ducks in a row before accusing her (which I didnt). Also told me I had a rude tone of voice with her... very unprofessional of her!

I deal with a number of banks, Michelle is one of the best business bankers I've ever dealt with! She is honest, and real! I enjoy dealing with BB&T!!
