Im originally from the berks county area and am fairly new to the cigar scene! I was working out in York county for the week and came across Casta!! When I went in it was a truly amazing experience! There setup is super relaxing and Wayne was very very knowledgeable on the history of Casta!!! The exclusivity really intrigued me!!! I went back the next day, with my travel case ready to roll and met with either John/Jacob (so sorry I forgot the name but I remember the face!) anyways he gave me some more history and sent me on my way with my very own Casta Cigar!!
As shown below ? I had a game day with a couple buddies and thought this was the perfect time to whip out my Casta and puffed away!!! Personally I need to work on not scarfing my cigars down but I did really enjoy it!! A big part of enjoying a cigar I believe is the moment when your smoking it. Who your around, what your doing, the conversation being had.
I had a great time hanging out and enjoying this cigar!!! Looking forward to stopping back soon!
Taste : still developing a palate so I cant really pick out certain notes etc etc. but it was very smooth and paired well with the couple Modelo drinks I had. Maybe in the future ill be able to pair it with something a little better but overall great experience!!

Discovered this place by chance a few years ago while in town for a wedding... as fate would have it, later that evening at the reception, my wife started having contractions and we ended up at the local York Hospital. That night my first daughter was born, so now every year I light up a Casta Cigar to celebrate one of the greatest memories of my life. They also just happen to be among the best cigars I've ever smoked, so they are definitely a clear favorite of mine for so many reasons! Oh and a friendly helpful staff to boot... Highly recommend checking them out!

Amazing cigars and wonderful lounge inside for the winter. With spring and summer sit out back in the courtyard and enjoy your cigar that Jon will assist you in selecting. A must visit spot in York that will show you an amazing time to sit, relax and unwind with a great cigar.

Pics taken on June 17, 2023Hands down a must check place. Offering only the finest quality of cigars that could only be produced in small batch fashion. Much truth to such description given by the owner, but the place is very much a high end microbrewery for cigar production. ...and the product follows the claim too. As a small company out of York, PA the owner (Jon) and many of his companions produce excellence in a form of a truly hand rolled cigar. The more affordable but well priced for their quality are all amazing. I've enjoyed both varieties so far. They do offer some top notch cigars that range from $400-$600. The aged tobacco used for those two cigars is undoubtedly superior. Overall, this gem of a cigar place is amazing. You will fine no better elsewhere. I hope to return one day.!!!Check Out Casta Cigars!!!

My husband Nat was in town performing for a business next to Casta Fine Cigars. When I went inside to look for gifts, Mr. Kindig was very kind. I know nothing about cigars, and Mr. Kindig took the time to explain a few things to me. He also helped suggest some cigars for the people I wanted to gift them to. Because my husband was performing next door that night, Mr. Kindig wanted to give me some cigars for free, but I told him that I'd like to pay the full price to support a small, local business. Both people I gifted the cigars to said that they were "very smooth" and "pleasant." Hearing that made me feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with this establishment.

My husband and I discovered Casta Cigars when walking past the shop in the delightful town of York, PA - and what a great find it was! John, the owner, took time to share what made their cigars truly unique, which was just fascinating, and we also learned more about cigar-making in general, too. He is a wealth of great info! We bought a couple cigars to enjoy in their courtyard, and were introduced to a circle of friends there that welcomed us to their table immediately. The next couple hours were spent talking, sharing, smoking, drinking, laughing - an unexpected camaraderie and connected experience you don't usually find so instantly with people you just met. And the cigars! So smooth... and the aroma and taste... simply divine. Do not walk past this place without stopping in for your own experience that goes way beyond a great cigar to a great memory you'll want to experience again and again.

Fantastic cigars, hospitality and community! I stopped by Casta while in town for work expecting to just pick up a cigar, but was invited by one of the owners, Wayne, to stay for live Jazz in the courtyard with some of the "regulars". The music, conversation and sublime cigar made for a perfect evening. Looking forward to being back soon!

Found these guys with a Google search while in York on business. Jon was a great host the relaxed atmosphere was great the outdoor patio was perfect on this hot day. Highly recommend. Thanks for being a great host Jon!
