One of the worst stays I have ever experienced. All you have to know… I found two mice in my room, and when I let the front desk know, they seemed the least bit surprised. The hotel is also under MAJOR construction with hazards laying all over the hotel (especially the lobby). Absolutely horrendous experience. For your sake, look elsewhere.

Avoid this hotel until construction is complete! The lobby is ripped up. There are dangerous construction supplies throughout the halls and stairs. I have a toddler so this is extremely dangerous and concerning. There were wet towels laying all over the floors and were a trip hazard. We were put in floor two. The bedding and bathroom were ok but the carpet and walls were absolutely disgusting. We have videos of mice running across the room. We would’ve left immediately but it was too late at night and there were no other hotels with availability in the area due to a sports tournament. I did ask to change rooms but was told no. There was no breakfast area nor chairs to sit and visit with our family that was staying with us. There were no working ice machines. Fitness center not available. public bathrooms in lobby not available. Our room wasn’t even completely ready in the evening when we checked in- housekeeping was still finishing up. Staff was not friendly but I assume this was due to them fielding so many complaints. I did visit someone staying on the 4th floor where rooms were already remodeled and it was nice. But that just made me more upset because I was paying a higher rate for much much less. How dare you charge over $200/night for this nonsense.

This building is under COMPLETE construction. We received no notice and even when called we were not told.Rooms were not livable. We had a mouse trap in our room with evidence of mice along with holes in the wall they were stuffed with paper towels. We did get a new room however they were not done renovating so we had no towels, smell of paint all weekend and no trash cans. The hallways were filled with debris!Walkability: Convenience store across street

Horrible stay. Major construction and demolition being done to building. They shouldn't offer rooms until completed. No amenities, no coffee, no breakfast, dirty room and jackhammers begin at 7am. No apology from staff. Skip this hotel and stay somewhere else. ANYWHERE else.

This property is under renovation and you have to share the entry with the contractors, their van and their cart with building materials. Entry to the front desk is extremely dangerous during below freezing temperatures since they shovel the covered entry, omitting any deicing agent, to only promote the formation of an ice rink. I fell upon return on my second night on the ice under the coverd entry. I immediately reported the incident to the non English speaking person on duty, "sorry" was their reply. I checked out early the following morning. I finished my stay at Wingate by Wyndham which was de-iced, dry and safe under the covered entry, as one would expect. Additionally, there were no working ice makers on the property. The 4th floor, which was under construction, was disconnected while ice makers on other floors were not working with signs suggesting you check another floor. Obviously management has no risk management skills or cares about their current guests safety. The incident was filed with Choice, but there was no follow-up regarding my injury. Thankfully there is a choice where you can obtain lodging. The property responded and did not even address my falling on the ice covered entry due to their negligence or address injuries I sustained.AVOID THIS DANGEROUS PROPERTY AND IRRESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT TEAM.Safety: Not safe at all, extremely dangerous conditions.

I book hotels for a living and always go in to a room and check it over when I get there. I went in to our room, pulled the sheets back on the bed, lifted up the mattress, and found a bed bug trap under the mattress. There was nothing on it so I decided to give the room the benefit of the doubt. I was laying in bed while my husband was in the bathroom getting ready for bed and I started to hear a squeaking noise from behind the couch. I walked over and looked behind it and found a mouse stuck to a sticky trap! We called down to the front desk and asked for someone to come up and get the mouse. We also asked to be moved to a different room. While we were waiting I looked around the room some more and found another mouse trap under the night stand by the bed and two more behind the tv chest. When the hotel employee came in to the room he pulled the couch away from the wall and there was a huge hole cut in the drywall! We were told that there was one room left that we could be moved to so we packed our stuff, at 1am, and moved down to the other room. I searched that room over and didn't see any traps, but saw something splattered all over the wall. We were so tired at this point and there were no rooms available at any other close hotels so we decided to stay. When we woke up the next morning my husband had a line of bites down his leg (matched bed bug bites we found online). The fact that this hotel knew they had a mice problem and still rented out this room is extremely irresponsible and unprofessional. We now have to worry that we brought something home in our luggage! I would definitely think twice before staying here. The ONLY good thing was the super nice lady that ran the breakfast.

The guy that was working at night on 9/3 was very helpful to me during an emergency situation that had occurred where I needed to have authorities present. He went above and beyond to make sure not only I was safe but other guests were safe during the situation as well. The customer service I recieved at this hotel was more than pleasant. Two things to point out the hotel is obviously in need of repair. Air circulation within the hotel needs to be improved badly.
