Fitness 1440 York is a great and amazing gym, described as a favorite by many. It is very clean, well kept, and well maintained, noted as the cleanest by some. The gym offers 24-hour access with fantastic hours. It has a great variety of lifting equipment, including dumbbells up to 150, four power racks, a deadlift platform, and specialty bars. There is a separate power lifting room, a turf strip, an infrared sauna, and a group fitness room. The owners are great, accommodating, friendly, and local. The staff is great and the atmosphere is cool and safe with no nonsense. It is very affordable and recommended.
Staff is always friendly & it’s by far the cleanest gym in York. 24/7 availability is also great for holidays or when your schedule isn’t consistent.

Been going here for close to a month now, and it's been nothing but positive. It's clean, everyone in there including the employees are friendly, it has about every fitness machine you could want with the addition of a sauna, tanning room, and smoothie bar. Id definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to start out.
