We were at the Giant in York Pa. Nice parking lot and the store was very clean. We used the self checkout and that was a hassle. We had difficulty entering our Giant card number and then it made us rescan a bunch of things. The young man who was at the self check out was more interested in eating his chips than helping.

I stopped in to grab some lunch meat, I would like to say I was in and out, but.. I saw the great prices on a few everyday items, and I had to do a little shopping!!

I normally never have a problem here but this time a young lazy girl named ANDREA couldnt even bag my groceries. She scanned all my items and bagged about 2 bags then proceeded to start ringing the next customer up meanwhile, I guess I was expected to bag the rest of my groceries LOL. i just stood there waiting for her to bag the rest of my stuff and she proceeded to scan the next customers items while all of my stuff was still unbagged. I could maybe understand if I had a whole cart load of food, but it wasn’t that much for her to need help bagging. Its pathetic. Customers dont get paid to bag, i dont work there. I called and they told its not “mandatory” for the cashiers to bag….. ive never heard of such a thing. What are they being paid for if i have to be forced and rushed to bag my own stuff??? Ridiculous

Great grocery store. I have been shopping here since I was a kid. The selection of products is great. The prices are good as well. The customer service is always good.

We shop at this store quite often, today we called in to order a birthday cake and no one was in the bakery to take our order, but that’s not really the issue, what bothered me was there were bakery item left out on trays in the racks totally uncovered, while I’m no food hygiene expert I’m pretty sure fresh produce should be covered at very least! Certainly the flies were having a good lunch!
