If your dog scares him he just brings ya in for money and that’s it period I’ve brought my dog in for skin issues and he’s scared of the vet well now my son has the skin stuff and he refuses to prescribe the medicine to kill it off he says he has to see him when he’s seen him multiple times for the same issue.

Our cat Winston was not acting his normal self; Dr. Amin took the time to see us after performing several surgeries on a Saturday evening. Thank you for always taking care of our pets!

My fiance and I just adopted a kitten who was abandoned a few days ago and the same day we picked her up we were able to already have an appointment for her to be seen. We love the way this animal hospital is run - very simply one client at a time with Dr. Amin's full attention. Thankful to have found an amazing veteranian in the area!

I highly recommend Dr.Amin. He was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive with our cat's needs during her end of life care. We cannot thank him enough for his guidance through the process.

After finding a kitty in the garage back in May we were quickly looking for a vet available to see her to make sure she was healthy. Dr. Amin reached out to us just 24 hours after getting into contact and we were quickly seen. A few months later our cat was diagnosed with fatty liver so we were redirected to the pet emergency hospital where she was given a feeding tube and more medications. During the course of her treatment Dr. Amin always went out of his way to ask how our cat was doing and never hesitated to make sure she had what she needed. She is now in her best shape and we are scheduled to have her tube removed all thanks to Dr. Amin and Hallam Animal Hospital. Even if I lived hours away I would still choose this animal hospital.

Be weary of his extra charges. He charged me $10 for a roll of medical tape but did not tell me I was paying for it. He also charged $10 to put peroxide on a cotton ball and clean out my dog's ears. Both of these I could've done myself for WAY cheaper. Also, he has 1 exam room. Each time we come, it is FILTHY. I understand there are animals here and it might not be spotless, but it is terrible. If he's charging these outrageous prices, I'm sure he could afford to have it cleaned once in awhile.

Nice vet who is able to get you in asap, even if you are a new patient. Has late hours, he seems to have his last appointment at near 8pm on certain days. He is always friendly. He does paper charts so don't expect him to remember everything. Its mainly just the vet there, I've never seen any employees. So he does everything himself and is good at it considering it's just one person. Definitely different from the average vet experience, but then again I've pretty much have only seen my childhood vet consistently. The office floor tends to be full of animal hair, but it's just him so I understand. He cleans the tables for each new animal. Prices are average for a vet, maybe slightly cheaper, but still around the average. Pleased with this vet and will continue to see him.

Lack of sensitivity and compassion lost a customer this afternoon. My wife and I had taken all our pets to Dr. Amin with no issues in the past. Tonight though one of our cats was hit by a car and was completely unresponsive. As this clinic is closest to our house, about 4-5 minutes vs 15-20 minutes to the emergency vet my first instinct was to drive here in an attempt to verify if there was any sign of life. All I asked was that he check very quickly with a stethoscope to see if our cat was breathing at all or had a heartbeat. He flat out refused stating that he was booked and even when a very nice women in the waiting room said we could have her spot he still refused to check and told us to go to the emergency vet. While I understand that there would be basically nothing he could do for our cat taking him all the way to the emergency vet would have guaranteed the same result plus a $1500 bil just for walking in the doors. We then proceeded to drive to Yorkshire animal hospital which was going to be on the way to the emergency vet where they very kindly checked to see if Oliver was still alive. Sadly he wasn't but while they had other customers they had no problem giving us a room and even offered their cremation services regardless of the fact that they aren't accepting new clients and we had never had any of our pets in with them before

This Vet does awesome work. I am so happy my friend referred me to him. My little chihuahua recently need a dental cleaning and he did such a wonderful job. His hours are so convenient. I had seen him a couple of times before as a supplementary vet, and he has now become who my dogs see regularly :) very happy with his work.

Dr Amin is absolutely amazing. He is not our regular vet but we had an emergency. It was a Saturday evening, our vet was closed and we found him on Google. He was already out of the office but returned just to take care of our dog. That is outstanding service!!! Our dog ripped one of her front claws up and the nerve was exposed. It was extremely painful for her and he was very compassionate and gentle with her. I can’t thank Dr Amin enough for helping fix our pup’s paw. I would recommend him to anyone.
