Waiting in my car with my cat was nice as she was calmer, as was I. After texting them that we arrived, it was about an hour till we received a call.
The staff was welcoming, efficient and pleasant. Vet was thorough and knowledgeable. Cost was reasonable at <$150 & my kitty got examined, Vaccinated and given shot/ meds for allergies. Hill Street is my new Vet care home! Very pleased with their care.

I am forever grateful to Dr. Roser from Hill Street Veterinary Hospital for her efforts in saving my goat's life. She answered my call and quickly came to check on my goat on a rainy Sunday afternoon after being denied an emergency vet visit from all the places I called before. She was very kind and understood the emotional stress and offered reassuring support the whole time. She was very professional and knowledgeable and she quickly diagnosed the issue and took care of the situation by performing a surgery on site. Thank you again!!

The staff, from front to back, are unfailing friendly, kind, gentle with our girls, and patient with our concerns and questions. We have a 17 1/2 year old dog. They've treated her and kept her happily living her life, even with having chf for 4 years.

When I moved to E York most veterinarians were booked months out one had good reviews and only about a six week wait but you have to pay the office visit in advance if you have cats you know ‘they know’ and hide and with the 24 hour cancellation your not getting your money back. After reading reviews I decided to try Hill Street I suggest if it’s not an emergency not go Friday or Monday the weight is longer but well worth it. The technician was very knowledgeable and good with my cat, and the veterinarian was one of the best caring for one of my animals and answering all my questions and concerns. And I felt it was very reasonably priced.

We sadly had to take my elderly cat Bodie to be euthanized at Hill St. Although it was a very hard day for us, Dr. Alfano and the staff were kind, compassionate and patient- which made all the difference. The staff were informative during my first phone call to inquire pricing (which was very affordable) and how the process works, and they were wonderful during the actual walk in office visit. Dr Alfano asked if this was our first pet we’ve had to euthanize, which it was, and she delicately explained the process. She also allowed my young daughter and I more than enough time to say goodbye before and after my pet’s final moments. I cannot thank her and the staff enough for their professionalism during this sad time for us. We also received a beautiful sympathy card and my pet’s paw prints.

To Dr. Alfano and staff: Thank you for the card and Mylo's paw prints ?. I received them Saturday. Also thank you so much for the great care you provided Mylo. You were not only very professional but so kind and compassionate. Several times you made time to see Mylo at a moments notice when he needed unscheduled emergency care. Also the process on Wednesday during Mylo's last moments of life were done in a way that made it much easier for my wife and me to endure. Included with this text is a picture of Mylo lying in his favorite spot on the very soft ground cover under our Kousa Dogwood tree. I took him out there and laid him down for the very last time Wednesday about an hour before we left to come to you. I sat with him the entire time. Once we have his ashes back he will be laid to rest with a grave marker engraved with his name, year of his birth and his death with a sleeping cat on it. Thank you ? again for taking such great care of Mylo. John & Diane Houseman

I have a feral who had a URI and was VERY thin. The staff was very good about handling Ginger Boy. I know that ferals do not make good patients, but just consider their upbringing. They treated GB very well. He had fleas, a URI and most likely worms. They accommodated our circumstances and took into consideration that you can never count on him showing up every time for dinner so consequently there is no way to make sure that he is medicated. He got a long-lasting antibiotic, a three month de-flea medication and a broad spectrum de-wormer. I really appreciate the fact that Hill Street has open appointments in the mornings. It is impossible to properly book an appt. when you are not sure if they will actually show up , let alone capture and crate them. It is a big deal just getting that to happen. Thank you Hill Street for accommodating us it is TRULY appreciated.

Very pleasant and professional. I'm getting the feedback from my wife but compared to Shiloh, this place was very good. Happy employees who know how to handle a nervous dog and no problems giving a shot and exam. Appointments were booked out to september but they have emergencies from 8-9 and then walk-ins from 9-11, first come first serve. They monitor the parking lot and you can just call or text them to let them know you're waiting. I believe they allow 4 pets in the waiting room to slow for space to avoid conflict. The rest can wait in their vehicle. Very convenient, very positive, and very professional.
