Luxe is my "home" salon, where I go about once a month to get a gorgeous, resilient dipping powder manicure from Peter, who does an amazing job every time. He's my nail hero! I've never been able to keep any kind of enhancement on my nails (and trust me, I've been trying since the 90s with everything from acrylics to solar), but every time, these nails last weeks beyond my expectations without lifting or cracking. Why would I go anywhere else? The salon is clean and comfortable, the prices are reasonable, and the owner is always friendly to me. They have something like 2,000 colors to choose from, so you're spoiled for choice when it comes to that. I've also had several pedicures there, and they were as relaxing and indulgent as you'd want them to be. I love Luxe and intend to keep returning for the foreseeable future. I'm very happy with the experience and the quality of the work. (Thanks again to Peter, who is fantastic!)

I come here for literally everything, if I could get my hair done here I would not go anywhere else! Today, I got my eyebrows and lashes done. The tech was so kind and did an amazing job. She gave me the natural look because I hate obnoxious lashes. She was so kind when I told her my eye was irritated from the glue and instantly made it feel better. My eyelashes and eyebrows look AMAZING. My nails from here never fail as well. This is by far my favorite salon.

I love this place. My best friend and I come here religiously every three weeks. It took me forever to find a nail salon when I moved up here and now that I have I’ll never go back. My mom who doesn’t live here says my salon is bougie because this place offers way more than hers does. The prices are amazing for what you get. The atmosphere is always fun, friends hanging out with friends.
Just coming back to add some new photos of my fall nails. Same salon, same girls still killing it!
Requested style: There hasn’t been an idea that I’ve asked for that I’ve been told they couldn’t do and if they hadn’t done it before they was willing to try and do it.

Peter and Jennie were fantastic! Peter did my nails while Jennie did my nieces tips, and they look AMAZING. I got a bright red to black ombré dip. I swear my nails have never looked better in my life. It's giving vampire temptress and it's everything I could ask for! Peter the nail tech god LOL! he has amazing vibes!! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and it came out even better. I waited to leave a review to see how long they would last, it's been five weeks and they're still very intact. And I work with animals so you know I'm rough on them! Amazing place with an amazing tech!!

Came here for the first time based on such great reviews. Staff was very nice and it was a great pedicure as it happened, however, I woke up with throbbing pain in my toe and day two my foot looks like this. (Getting somewhat better with epson salt foot baths.) I was disappointed the second coat wasn’t on my entire toe making polish look eh but I can get over that. My toe has been swollen for days and is hard, looks awful and crusty after paying for a special $50 pedicure, to be honest my toes looked better prior. Likely not returning and I’ll stick to the places I know.

My mother and I went in for a pedicure and I got acrylics. My nail tech was really sweet aswell as my mom’s. This place was the cleanest i’ve ever seen a nail salon and it was extremely relaxing. I’m super happy with my nails and we’re definitely coming back and brining my dad :)
Cleanliness: Extremely clean.
Stylist: She did great and was super sweet.

I came in this week to get my nails done for the first time with a full set of acrylic gel. I absolutely love how it turned out!
I was a little nervous since I never had this done before, but the nail technician quickly made me feel at ease. She explained everything what she was doing as she went along and checked to make sure I was okay.
Make sure to bring cash to tip since you can’t electronically.

LILY IS THE BEST!!! She has been doing my nails for almost 2 years and every single time they stay on for over 3 weeks sometimes a month!! She seriously is the best! She always does amazing artwork and masters it! I 10/10 recommend booking with her!

I’ve been going to this place since March. I’ve always received top notch services, the staff is friendly and kind, and they do an amazing job on my nails! I’m always please to go back! This has been the only place in York that I’ve visited to get my nails done and I’m planning on going anywhere else!

I had my first appointment today and I can say that this is my new favorite nail salon! I have been to plenty of nail salons all over York and none of them can compare to Luxe. My appointment was with Peter, and I will keep scheduling with him because he pays attention to every detail of your nails: he cuts your cuticles, makes sure your nails are the same length and shape, and makes sure your nail beds are smooth. The prices are also reasonable. I can see why this place has so many great reviews!
