If you're going to send out emails for discounts maybe the employees should be trained on how to ring them up/ accept them. The employee didn't even try to take our discounts and basically told us that if we can't pull it up properly (which I don't know what he wanted besides us showing him the phone with the discount pulled up) he couldn't help us and we'd have to pay full price. Never called for assistance from a manager or asked another employee just wanted us to get out of his line and use the self check out instead.

Do not like the self check out. It also seems like the poor person helping people was running like crazy to keep up with the customer questions.

Manager Jenn could’ve really cared less about being in her store or servicing customers at all. Our checkout associate radioed to her because the coupon that’s online doesn’t have a barcode, and she replied “if there’s no barcode that’s too bad, nothing we can do.” Instead of coming up and troubleshooting or even acknowledging us, we watching her stand closely by and the second we checked out and started to head towards the door, then walked over to our associate. I understand not being a people person, but maybe then this isn’t the right field for you. Super turned off by this whole experience, not because of the coupon not working correctly, but because of the manager’s blatant disregard for customer service. Surely Michael’s could’ve chosen better.

Lots of problems with return of products that arrived damaged from poor packing and shipping...I am still waiting to get a gift card for the damaged items that arrived for Halloween. Every time I call customer service I get a run around and um still waiting for this problem to be resolved.

Walked in about a half hour before closing to pick up a few items took nearly 20 minutes to checkout because only one cash lane was open and that was tied up for most of the 20 minutes. Other cashier just closing out the second cash Lane with nearly a half an hour to go before closing. Just as I walked up to the check out
Next time I'll just go to Walmart!

I have always enjoyed Michael's but I really enjoyed rhe addition of self checkout and the ease of use! I also love the regular availability if coupons that actually save you $!

Michael's is one of the last places in York County you can buy artist supplies. They also carry a huge selection of crafts supplies too.

Nikki and Jenn were sooo helpful at the York Galleria location. They went above and beyond to find a missing order. The best Michael’s experience I have had by far.
