Salesman was super pushy even though I had made a point that I have 20/20 vision and I just needed glasses to see at night. After telling her three times that I wasn’t interested in anything but the basic frames and lenses, she finally got the point after talking to her manager about it for 10 minutes. The appointment was on 9/30, and currently it is 10/18 and I’ve yet to have any sort of update on my glasses. I keep being told they are being processed, but yet they ordered the wrong lenses and can’t give me a rough date of when I should receive them. I don’t recommend this location whatsoever.

Just came back from a very pleasant visit to our office at York Marketplace.
I've been going here at this location pretty much since it opened.
Through the years, my family and I have gotten top-notch service and reasonable prices.
We've had minor issues with eyeglasses and they've always been taken care off.
Just brought back a pair of eyeglasses with a minor delamination issue....the glasses were slightly out of the warranty period.
Guess what? They are gonna take care of it.
I've read some of the negative reviews and I wasn't there.....maybe some of the complaints are warranted, maybe some aren't.
All I know that I was in retail for 40 years and when I had a good regular customer....they *always* got taken care of.
Sometimes you have got to be a good customer to get the service you're expecting.

Manager at East market Street violates HIPAA laws. He gave my phone number and all other personal information to the police with cops having no warrant , and I was no threat to society, thinking about filing a lawsuit, aside from that he should be Terminated by the owner, this is not a good look for the owner & his office patients have no privacy

Paid and have a receipt from last December. Said I owe them for frames and they ran my insurance card and I paid my bill what the insurance didnt cover then they sent me a bill end of January saying my insurance didn't cover the frames but they were covered under insurance. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 class action suit against my eye doctor already filed against them. Big scam don't pay anything to them it is on going and they are going out of business

They just up and cancel your appointment if you don't answer your phone when they call you a few days prior to your appointment. I was in surgery May 1st when they called. Came to my appointment on time May 5th and they told me they canceled it because I didn't answer. So I'll just go somewhere else. No wonder it's a 3.6 rating.

Really upset
I went there for my exam and glasses for years but this year make me pay too much out of pocket even when I told them I only need what the insurance covered and now send me another bill without told you what the cost when you are there I ended up paying more $300 for regular plastic glasses with same service I do every year and not even pay more than $70 and the same insurance coverage…. When I call them they put me on hold to speak with the manager and they say the manager will call you back with no response….

I went without medical insurance and between the secretary who speaks Spanish and the skinny girl they tricked me with contact lenses. They charged me for 1 year and only gave me 6 months. The manager made me a long-sighted person and I gave them

Don't waste the time going to this branch. The place is trash and the people are way to rude. There it doesn't even exist a waiting area for you to seat and wait to be call. My mom was sent there because her regular place at the eastern boulevard location would not work anymore with her new insurance, and the way we were received was nothing but rude,to the point we decided to leave and not even take the appointment, just ONE question was to much to ask.

Today I walked into MyEyeDr with a smile on my face and a prescription in my hand to upgrade my daughter’s glasses and was greeted with the upmost ignorance and unprofessionalism from Marilyn the front desk customer service representative. She not only tried to tell me that my daughter glasses couldn’t be fixed under her paid protection plan that came out of my pockets she ALSO tried to tell me that my minor child’s glasses prescription could only be updated once a year from the date they were ordered. Understandable but incorrect. After having to go back and forth with her multiple times about how this can’t be because my daughter sees a specialist with her condition they should be able to be adjusted, especially because I had already called into to a more professional customer service representative and was explained to me that I absolutely could get her glasses fixed because she’s a minor. She then stood up and raised her voice above me and berated me by telling me at least 5 times that I don’t understand her or their policies. I told her to sit herself down and lower the tone she was speaking to me in. The manager Ed came over and identified that my daughter is a minor and these glasses ABSOLUTELY are able to be upgraded AND that my daughters glasses can be fixed under her protection program. So not only is she completely unprofessional, she also berates customers while being completely incorrect not even knowing how to do her job or the companies policies. Within SECONDS of Ed, the manager, coming over to help calm the situation down was my daughter glasses fixed and put in the system to get the lenses upgraded. WOW, isn’t that something? This woman’s attitude and lack of knowledge being front and center of this business is disgusting. Mind you this was all in front of my 2.5 year old child who watched this woman raise her voice at me and cause an argument in a place of her business. I want this woman removed and reprimanded to the fullest. I will be contacting every higher up manager I can and will be leaving a very detailed rating on this place as well, I can’t imagine how many people this woman has spoken to like this or not allowed them to get their glasses fixed under hundreds of dollar protection plans, since she is COMPLETELY unaware of the companies policies or actions, completely unaware of how the protection plans work… you tell me how useful this woman could possibly be? I HAVE NEVER in my almost 30 years of life been treated by a customer service person like this or ever treated another customer this way myself. It’s disgusting.

Absolutely trash establishment. Should have read the reviews before wasting my time and gas. The guy in there before me was turned away after making an appointment too. I made my appointment in person 3 days earlier. Lol.
