This place needs to be investigated. I cried leaving the birds at this store after seeing their condition and how they were shaking and scared. The green cheek is in the corner shaking and almost all of his tail feathers are gone or bent. The cage has no fresh air and minimal toys with dirty water and little food. The pineapple conure has a head full of pin feathers and no one preening it. You are charging $800, showing no affection to these birds and wondering why they are aggressive and sick. You are setting these birds and future bird owners up for failure. If you do not hand rear them and get them used to fingers they will bite. They are not bred to be kept in miserable little plexi glass prisons! This Petco has been abusing (neglect is abuse) birds for years and I am sick of it! The birds are terrified and their feather look terrible. They are visibly terrified and shaking uncontrollably. When you ask the employees any questions they know nothing. How can you not train your employees to handle these animals and answer basic questions about concern. This company cares nothing of animals and only of the money they can make off of their torture.

The condition that the birds are in when I visited the store it was absolutely deplorable. I can't believe those poor animals have to live in such horrible conditions considering that they are multi-million dollar business. Put that money back into your animals. Please. Please save those birds. Contact the SPCA today!

*SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE* A few months ago I went into petco to grab dog food when I noticed the state of the birds they had. Each of these beautiful animals , frail - weak , in the corners of the cages . Shaking - CONSTANTLY. What looks to be loss of feathers on most of them and no enrichment or activity for them inside the cages . I have come back periodically to ask about the state of them, I was met with annoyance all times and nobody seemed to care that I had an concern nor did they seem to have any care for them. I have had multiple friends go to look and try to get information or to express concern over the state of these animals - ALL were met with the same attitude. These animals are extremely needy and need CONSTANT care , the right environment, and the proper and KNOWLEDGEABLE people. NOBODY knows or could answer my questions thoroughly, it was a mess. These animals are suffering, this NEEDS to change .

Really loved this location for aquatics, but I've noticed lately that Nikki is rarely there anymore. The aquatics section used to be such a star at this Petco! I give Nikki 5 stars, but reducing her hours has taken its toll on the aquatics section 😞 Used to spend $50+ every week or so, now it'll be weeks at a time between purchases... due to unavailability of staffing in aquatics and inconsistent tank care. If I don't see her, I usually just leave now 🤷♀️

I just picked up our Yorkie from the groomers. The groomer did a nice job but when I went to pay I was charged the normal $59 grooming fee and an additional $6 for materials. I can’t imagine that a 5 lbs. dog requires $6 worth of shampoo. I have never been charged for materials at any groomer unless I purchased a special treatment shampoo. I definitely will not use their services again.

What a bad chain store. Have several rescue dogs. In for vaccinations, so many dogs crowded around the area, elderly and even a baby in a stroller. because the rescue dogs behavior can’t be trusted yet and because things were very tight. I accidentally left the store without paying. I’m an honest person. I called back to the store and offered to pay with my credit card cause I didn’t wanna take the dog back out of the car back into that environment and have it triggered or have a bad reaction The person who answered the phone was unwilling on knowing to accept my payment so I thought I’ll just go to another store or I’ll take care of this after I take the dog home m. So I volunteer that I forgot to pay I volunteer to pay and don’t you know while I was still driving home. I got a threatening call for theft services. What a way to be rewarded for rescuing the dog trying to do right by the dog have a positive encounter and offering to pay a honest mistake. First off they need to hire management, who knows how to take care of being a manager and handle a problem secondly, they need to remember that i the customer called back and offered to make it right. Needless to say I won’t be buying my dog food, my dog treats or my toys there because apparently they don’t know how to be nice to customers all they wanna do is be a multi billion dollar chain and advertise online for their products.

More than disappointed with this company. I ordered a pet gate around 6:00 in the morning and by 10:00 my order was canceled with no explanation. I called customer service where they had no explanation either. I reached out to customer service and never heard back. This was the first time purchase with this company and I will never come here again. Whether in store or online. My family will not come here either. PetSmart is our store choice.

They are very helpful and helped me get my fish Tobby back to health! Everyone there is super nice and the people who work in the fish department always are willing to help me check my water and if something is wrong they lead me the right way to help. I will post a picture of Tobby below he wasn’t doing good yesterday and ever since they helped he’s back up and swimming!
