Pippi's Pen Shoppe is a charming and distinctive store, described as a hidden treasure and a one-of-a-kind location. Walking into the shop is like stepping back in time or visiting a shop from Harry Potter, akin to a tiny museum dedicated to pens, stationery, quills, and stamps. It carries virtually every major brand of every type of pen and ink, with a great selection of fountain pens and most supplies you'd need. The owner is wonderful, kind, fun, and a true treasure, always willing to help and eager to talk pens. It is an amazing and cool store, very charming and perfect, where you find something new every visit. It is highly recommended and definitely worth stopping by for everyone, even if you aren't into calligraphy, as it has great gifts. Fantastic writing shoppe with a wide selection of pens including fountain pens, stationary, inks, writing history. The charm of the shoppe and Pippi is wonderful. It’s small but full of little treasures. Be sure to talk with Pippi; her kindness and knowledge is touching in a world gone overripe with big box stores.

Excellent atmosphere and a great pen and ink selection. The only thing missing is Sailor but that's Sailor's fault and not the store's.

One of our favorite places in downtown York. Joan, the owner is very friendly and helped find the right items within the price range. Highly recommend it to everyone who appreciates handwriting!
