To the lovely cashier who gave me a hug earlier after complimenting me, thank you. I didnt catch your name but it was like an hour ago I came in for 10 dollars in gas. I know i was all sweaty but that huge was more appreciated thank you know. Seriously thank you. Talk about caring about customers, this alone gives 5 stores to you guys. Bless you for today ❤️

I was in around 5:20pm, labor day! A day to recognize the social and economic achievements of American workers and to celebrate the labor movement! So You'll understand my surprise when I get in there, wait in line for what felt like eternity, start getting close to the front (like 3-5 people mind you, this guy was just slow as hell), And then before I even get up to the register, this lazy cashier I didn't catch his name, yell's over at one of the employees who WAS actually working, tells her to come take over register
Now that's got to be for a good reason right? This guy must have had something really important to do, since he was leaving customers right? Well as it turns out he just wanted to go deal with whatever she was doing at the coffee area, then I guess even that labor was too much for him because then he went outside not completing his task as I saw from my car.
Im just bitchy, but I give an honest review now. So let's say this store starts at 5*, we have to deduct 2 points for the kitchen staff, whenever I go in there during the day, that African American woman in the kitchen manages to mess up my order every time. I ordered hot dogs a few weeks ago and they were just thrown in the microwave? That was crazy. Bathrooms are relatively clean so that's a plus, and the location is great for me since I work just up the road, so we won't deduct any points on those categories. Price is another point loss, I know that this store itself doesn't dictate pricing but Rutter's as a corporation is losing the plot a bit on staples like milk gallons, bread, eggs, anything on the kitchen menu etc is all far to highly priced, that brings our point total down to a 2/5, the last point I'm gonna take away and the main reason I wish we had a sheetz at this location instead, is the staff is not just terrible 80% of the time, but they are RUDE 80% of the time! I can count on 1 hand the number of friendly employees there! The black guy who does afternoon and nights is super chill, the overnight woman for cash register is very kind, the short girl with glasses and the polo shirt in deli was very nice to me and actually got my food right for once! That Tristan guy was friendly and did a decent job, but the rest of the staff would be an IMMEDIATE fire if it was my company (I wish I had names for the good employees 😔, the good ones are genuinely so sweet)

When I went to check out, the cashier, Nevaeh, was extremely rude. She used foul language to me in front of my kids and threw my change on the floor. Will not be back as long as she’s there.

There’s a reason this deserves one star. I live within walking distance. We previously walked over for snacks, milk, essentials, etc. Within the last 3 years, we’ve decided it’s worth driving elsewhere. The countless flat sodas from their soda fountain machine were a huge factor, amongst others- it’s rare that any machines are working.
If you’re thinking about getting a slushie or fr’real milkshake…. you guessed it, machines are down, and have been for at least a few weeks/months. Today was the first day I noticed the slushie machine working, so I gave it a try and dispensed out some black substance with my Mountain Dew slush. Oh, and the employee giggled when I showed her.
To go food? Watched one staff member dump onion rings into a pan to cool next to the fryer… while another employee scrubbed the top of the fryer off into a bucket, right over top of the fresh food.. and when I said something, they “assured me” the cleaning product wasn’t near the freshly made food, when I could clearly see what just happened.
We notified the staff…more than once…and they didn’t seem to care. It would be nice if they upgraded the location/building...or maybe staff that didn’t laugh at black sludge in the slushies. Why has this prime Rutters location not been upgraded and given more attention!!??
Someone please make it make sense

This is literally my all time favorite Rutters…I frequent here 2-3 sometimes 4 times or more a day….no joke….every single employee here is so amazing and has always treated me so kind and respectful! Just wanna give a shoutout to TRISTAN! He is always smiling and always goes above and beyond! Thank you all for always being the best!

Pur in our food order of 5 items at 4:11pm didnt recieve our food till after 5 pm. Poor customer service. Poor staffing. COLD Mac and Cheese, burger not hot so not heated to 135-165 obviously not following serve-safe mandates. And no Manager for the food court on sight. Unknown if any employee on sight was serve-safe trained. EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Was at the rutters got pretzel bites?Asked for a cup of cheese for a dollar.
And did not receive my cup of cheese. I paid for the cheese just did not receive it. There's no point never going back in and asking for the cheese at several locations. Because it just seems like they don't care. I don't need to credit. I don't want to credit. Just do your damn job.

Milshakes are horrible! They dont use ice cream but they use ice in their milk which causes ice crystals. Never had a milkshake that had crunchy ice crystals until today. Food is normally good. I got a shake and buffalo chicken which the chicken is always tasty.
