“A few years back we brought our GMC Acadia to get the transmission rebuilt (not many places rebuild anymore). They did a great job and even replaced some parts under warranty and a few months out of warranty. We live 45 minutes away from the job and it's 100% worth the driving back and forth we have to do. We recently had to take it back for some repairs that required dropping the transmission. After the final price and looking at the list of repairs they did, they continue to show us they are a business who practices with the utmost integrity. I recommend them to anyone that expresses a need for any transmission repair.”
“This is the only shop I’ve taken classic/retro cars to that hasn’t disappointed me one bit. I had an 86 corvette that was totaled in August of 2023 and I had 3 shops deine looking at it and one tell me the frame was trashed and couldn’t be save but Whitmer and their crew discovered the frame was perfectly within spec and they fixed the car with an alignment and a few tie rod ends. As far as I’m concerned they are the only show working on my corvette from now. I’ve started taking my Fiero’s there as well and they do great service with those odd little cars too. They are great people to deal with and they are always super helpful and quick to get me an appointment. Strongly recommend to anyone with classics, exotics, odd balls, etc…”
