Went in today for help with my phone. The older man was very rude and not at all helpful. He basically dismissed me from the store. Does he know he doesn't have to work there if he hates his job? I will never go back. I instead went over to Walmart where the man there was beyond friendly and helpful. I actually left with a new Verizon phone and plan. Hire & do better at this store!

My wife, son and myself visited the Verizon store on White Street, York, PA. on March 11, 2024, interested in looking at new phones. My wife and son had phones on a previous Wellspan phone plan and I needed a personal phone. We met with a Mr. Tyrell Clark, who was a pleasure working with. He was very helpful during and informative during our visit, and also fielded numerous follow-on calls from me, asking for specific information regarding our latest purchase.
Just wanted to provide recognition for a "Job Well Done" by your valued employee, Tyrell Clark.

Phones are junk. I need to restart my phone once to 5 times a day in order to make calls or send a txt. Service is trash I don't get service on main roads and some cities like other carriers do. I'll be switching my family to AT&T or something else because Verizon is terrible.

Tyrell Clark was THE MOST EXCELLENT SALESPERSON I EVER HAD!!!!! He took so much time answering detailed questions so I knew every fee. I was very screwed over buying a new cellphone in the past. I was so nervous to switch companies. He took so much extra time with me and was honest! The most important thing! He should be promoted to manager! He was calm, caring, positive. Traits lost in today’s salespeople! Promote him already!!!!!!

I hope a $40 case was worth losing 2 customers, gaining multiple bad reviews and a BBB inquiry.I called into the store on IP15PM launch day (9/22) to see if they had any of the new 15 pro max. They did, they had 1! In the exact color I wanted. I was pretty excited given everyone else was sold out. I went in a couple hours later and sat down with David Hernandez (on my sales receipt). He started ringing up the phone but midway through stopped and told me he can’t sell this phone without a case and screen protector. I thought I didn’t hear him right so I asked him to repeat and he then told me that he will not be selling this phone without some sort of accessory. He starts pushing cables and cases and warranty plans, the whole gamut. I told him I wasn’t interested in any of that , I just wanted the phone. He then proceeds to tell me that he is refusing to sell this to me (which his manager backed him up on) unless I bought a case or something with it. We went back and forth for a few minutes until I said screw it. I wanted the phone and I knew it was the only one. If I wasn’t so impatient, I wouldn’t have purchased. The whole transaction was disingenuous as a “customer service” experience. I honestly couldn’t believe they refused to sell me, a regular customer to this store, a phone because they feel they need to hit a quota of accessory sales. The kicker is my wife also was purchasing an iPhone 15 and needed a case, charging cable for the car, etc because she’s going from an older style iPhone with lightning connector. The unethical treatment of customers at this location is abhorrent. If they did it to me, I’m sure they’ve done it to less fortunate customers as well. Secondarily to this, the new phone was set up under my wife’s number and not mine which forced me to be there for an hour longer than necessary, interrupted my wife’s service, and made me have to go through a multitude of transactions for something that should have been very simple. Honestly, I don’t even know if everything was done correctly and am verifying it with Verizon to make sure. At the end of the day, I know mistakes are part of human nature and this could have been an easily overlooked issue, but the sheer disrespectful and unethical treatment and selling tactics used for a lousy accessory is what I’m the most upset over. For this, I highly recommend going ANYWHERE else other than this cellular sales Verizon location.
