The East Market Walgreens take pride in their store. The prices are clearly marked. The employees are happy to help you when I cannot find where an item. I go out of my way to shop at this Walgreens. Well worth a visit.

They'll tell you your insurance won't fill your prescription if it's too close to their lunch time so they don't have to do it before going to lunch.

Prescriptions are out of stock after being sent weeks ago. No communication. Always a long wait. Pharmacy closed on the weekend! When you actually get your meds they did not bill insurance so you get to wait an hour for them to fix that. Depending on which person you get they can be very curt and unfriendly. I highly recommend you send your prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I have.

Walgreens pharmacy use to b the best! They were very kind n helpful and open 24 hrs! I transferred to them 10 years ago because of this. However over the past yrs all of that slowly started to disappear. From telling me my medication is out of stock (generic & name brand) to 30 min later getting a text saying it’s filled! This happened more times than I can count! Extremely frustrating! And now their pharmacy hours have cut completely back to Monday through Friday 9-6pm with no service during the lunch break between 1:30 to 2pm! ABSOLUTELY NO WEEKEND HOURS AT ALL! Huge disappointment & inconvenience!

I would give a dam 0 if I could, the worse customer service I have ever witnessed, always sold out of the inhaler I need, you can have 3 people in line and your almost there an hour. They need to close this freaking location it is the worse store and experience I’ve ever had, there’s never a freaking pharmacist around, so I can’t get my inhaler on the weekends the most Inconsiderate store I’ve ever seen, I see why their starting to close them cause their brand sucks.

Love this Walgreens! I walk in with a purpose, and I end up in their great toy section every time LOL, lots of displays, everything you need! The staff members are always friendly!

Worse pharmacy. Always a line onsite and drive thru. They need to be more organized. I called for a prescription refill and got to the pharmacy within 2 hours to found out my prescription was not ready.
They need to understand that they need someone to take over or new management.

Why is Walgreens not hiring a manager to get this place under control?? Is this a York PA thing w/badly run businesses at every corner?. I’ve never been INTENTIONALLY hung up on so many times by a “business”as I am at this pharmacy. This Walgreens is terrible for customer service or really ANYTHING you call for. They’ll pick up and put you on hold immediately. You wait for 15-45 mins & then you’re hung up on. Just had this happen & it sounds like the same girl every time. Paying customers treated like garbage yet this place hasn’t gone out of business? You go into the store & there’s nobody there, when is this going to change? Does the owner read these reviews???? Terrible! Only good comment is that they carry a medication I struggle to find elsewhere since COVID. Really it’s kudos to their supplier! It’s just hell trying to get it filled .

The pharmacy is soooooooooo slowwwww. I’ve never seen a pharmacy handicapped so hard, even ones that were actually busy. The prescription could be ready and you’ll still wait an hour just for someone to ask what you need, let alone actually get it!
