William Kain Park is a great and nice park with pretty trails for hiking and long walking. The trails go around two lakes and there is plenty of free parking. It is a great place to fish, with activity from panfish and bass in the lake and spillway. The park also has a playground, several covered picnic tables, benches, and clean open restrooms. In the summer, there are reasonably priced boat rentals including kayaks and paddle boats. The kayak launch deck is super helpful. The water is beautiful and the vibe is very chill. There are tons of blueberry bushes and beautiful mushrooms along the trails, and plenty of deer. The whole park is free.
After my husband Thomas Vickers and I got married, we had our reception here and did a cook out, it was nice and pretty and the grill was simple and basic, we just brought the food and probably coals? It was in 2009 so I don't remember.

A great place to fish and hike. In the summer they have boat rentals which are also enjoyable. It also has a playground and several picnic tables as well as restrooms

What a nice park trails covered picnic tables benches and a great place to walk your dogs. Even a clean open bathroom on-site. Plenty of free parking. The whole park was free!
